Really proud that you completed it! What a grueller when you're tired and in pain. Congratulations on doing something selfless and worthwhile for a good cause. Goodness knows what your next challenge will be! You keep raising the bar! Marathon running in no time!
Hi Andrew, thanks for your kind comments. I'm already wondering what to do next ... I'm not very brave in respect of doing things like sky dives etc... so raising the bar any higher is probably unlikely. Though I'm thinking about a cycle challenge, but I'd need a decent bike, and I can't afford one right now. Back to a trekking adventure I reckon! Thanks for watching and giving TWorld your time, truly appreciated. 🌻🤗 🌻
Fantastic!!! Well Done from the Zak Vlogs family. You did an amazing job so did Barbara. Very informative Vlog and excellent work well worth doing. I’m so proud of you Well Done 🙏🏻
Thank you ever so much and thanks for giving TWorld your time... much appreciated. The challenge was tough, but amazing! I'm still buzzing from it! 🌻🤗🌻
Well done ✔ ladies this is just the real view inspiration I needed to start training. You say you started at 7am but what time did you finish please xx
Ahhhh Lucy... just watched this again! Memories!! Have to say it's the toughest thing I've ever done... tougher than up/down Snowdon in a day... purely because 26 miles in a day is a hell of a way to walk. Do watch my other video which will give you advise of what NOT to do!... ie have too much in that ruck sack! My shoulder began to kill me on the last 6 miles. So, I was up at 4.30am to have a shower etc... we arrived at about 6.30am and I think we set off at about 7am - we didn't get to finishing line until about 6.30/7ish.. pm ... Poles, poles, poles... buy some, use them... truly makes a huge difference, supports the knees, up and down.... and plenty of fluids ... good luck on whatever challenge you're hoping to do. Im considering BenNevis for Alzheimers... but not sure at the moment!! Both my parents have dementia, symptom of Alzheimers and my mum has deteriorated considerably recently... Im their prime carer... so Teresa's World is my hobby and keeps me focussed ... thanks for watching... and taking time to comment. Best wishes for 202, Teresa 🤗
Hi Gary... glad you enjoyed the video and it's inspired you. Have to say this walk nearly killed me, toughest thing I've ever done. I, stayed in my campervan - and stayed in Brecon for 3 nights, made a lovely break out of it. If you explore my channel further, Teresa's World, you'll find other videos relating to 'before' and 'after' this trek. I've also done Snowdon for Prostate Cancer. My friend Barbara stayed in a hotel... the night before and the night of the trek. Good luck in doing the Stonehenge walk... I'm thinking about Ben Nevis... just 'thinking' !!!! 😅🤗
Hi Simon.. thanks for watching TWorld and Trek26... really appreciated. No it wasn't me on Thursday, as I didn't leave until Friday lunch time... only took 2 hours. I hate the Monmouth roundabout... I just about get in the right lane! I'm the van that's going around a round-about 2 or 3 times, even with a satnav!! 🌻🤗🌻
Hi Ben, apologies for delay in reply. Been away on IoW. I hope you did really well on Trek26. I'm sure you would have completed it far quicker than me. I have to say it was the toughest thing I've ever done. Mainly due to my inexperience of packing a light rucksack, mine was so very heavy, my shoulder became really painful after about 19 miles. It took about 11 hours bearing in mind I stopped frequently to take video footage! I was just relieved to finish! 🤗
Hi Francesca, YES! I have some really important good tips... 1. have a camel pack rather than drinks bottles, this means you can sip water as and when you need it... and keeps your hands free, for poles + no need to stop, get the bottle out of rucksack etc... 2. keep that ruck sack as light as possible... don't take unnecessary things like I did! 3. trekking poles... a must! 4. light weight walking boots... leather ones are fine, but they are weighty... and 26 miles is a long way wearing heavy boots. 5. enjoy it... don't forget to take in the views and the atmosphere... its an amazing achievement Well done, I know you'll smash it. Good luck and thanks for watching Teresa's World ... and taking time to comment. 🤗

Amazing. I’m doing this trek on Sunday I have to say I’m slightly nervous. How long did it take overall?
