You know what Stephanie I hope you decide not to paint that beautiful chicken house its such a pretty color for all the pretty mama birds it's like a Tiffany blue and it pops on the farm I know it's your call but on camera it's beautiful

Painting it red will look so good as the other buildings are red.
Red buildings are what most farms have.
Just think, less work, leaving it the color it is. It can be a focal point for directions (“yes, by the little bluish building, is ‘chicken city’).
I have always had respect for the first land owners… The Indian Nations. They loved bright and beautiful colors. Just saying.
Back in the day, barns were painted red for a reason. Look it up, very interesting.
By the way, your little helper today was spot on and very gentle. Little human with a big voice!
Some day you may have a food building for each animal group. You could have your own Rainbow Row.

Stephanie, I hope the children get well soon. Just wanted to let you know that the small openings on the base of Carly's ears is normal. It is called 'Henry's pocket', or 'cutaneous marginal pouch'. All dogs and cats have these. One other thing...the tips of dogs ears is a target for flies that bite the skin. When y'all are doing the fly spray, be sure to get the top of all the dogs ears. Summer can be brutal with flies! Love your videos.
Stephanie when collecting eggs carry a small dish towel with you and when you have a chicken sitting you put the towel over the hens head that way she will not peck you or they will get off the nest

If the hospital didnt offer you this script you might ask your local doc. After allergy testing the doc said my sons are allergic to every thing that grows in Arkansas. But my youngest has eyes that swell shut like that. The allergy doc gave him a subscription of Patanol - generic name olopatadine. Its a drop we put in each eye as needed. He says it stings a bit, but it works really well. We keep it on hand at all times. Hes 20 now, and they have had him on it for years. Might ask about it. Swelling goes down pretty quickly. I typically give it to him when they start getting bloodshot and it typically keeps them from swelling to much. Its been so handy and cut down on emergency visits. Love Braylee's no fear attitude, glad it went well. Love the video. God bless.

Maybe there are 2 roosters in that cage. Carly is such a pretty and happy girl! They checked my eye to see if a scratch also. It felt so much better after they put some drops in my eye too. I was camping at the time in White Mtns, AZ. It can be pink eye too. I loved the video clip! PS. I think the shed looks so colorful like a bluebird or beach blue! 💙

Remember that if he gets knots at the injection sites, if you put a heating pad on his bum or he takes a hot shower then it allows the medicine in the knots to go ahead and disburse. He may be one that needs allergy testing. I was allergic to every tree, every kind of grass, animals, dust mites, etc. and my only food allergy was chocolate! lol due to 2allergy shots a week, plus meds daily, I still got chocolate occasionally. 😊❤

Please be careful in areas where you have seen spiders. My dad was bitten by a spider in my aunt’s basement. It made his eye swell 10 times its normal size.
Why not have Carly's nails in that foot permanently removed on the affected foot rather than something as drastic as amputation? She may have fly strike on her ears.
Because that leg is so abnormal, she would probably do better with the amputation because the weight of that leg can just make her off balance. Just look how well Dixie has done!!

Ear infections. My daughter kept getting ear infection, used 2 antibiotics, didn't work. Looked in natural remedies book. Use 50 ACV/water mix. Lay and turn head add mix, pull down ear lobe to get in canal, put towel on ear and turn head and let drain out on towel. Do same on other ear. Bacteria cannot live in acidic environment. Daughter has done this for years and for her children, works every time. Apple cider vinegar is awesome. Read about all it can do. 2 brothers had hay fever, asthma & hives. He may have to take allergy medicine. If you can afford it, have him go to allergist and find out what he is allergic to.

When I was a teenager I went on my first hayride. The next morning I woke up with one eye swollen completely shut and the other one almost the same. We found out I was allergic to hay. I'm 66 now and still allergic to it.
Those steroid shots hurt. I'm over 65 sweetheart. I feel for you. Mommy's tryi g to get you much better. God bless you Stephanie and Leighton.

I had a horrible reaction to what looked like a blizzard of cottonwood and my eyes almost swelled shut. Hope he feels better.
I can relate to Layton having an allergic reaction. Many years ago, I went to watch my brother-in-law race at the dirt track. It was quite dry that night, and the dust was flying! The next morning, I woke up to both eyes swollen shut! My boss's wife was a nurse and ended up rushing me to the hospital with an allergic reaction to the dirt! Now, I always bring the Benadryl with me!
It seems like the kids sinuses and allergies are bad there .They always seem snuffy. I hope they all start feeling better. So much pollen in the air in spring.
For carlys ears its probably biting flies. Or maybe horse flies. Here in kentucky we have biting flies. They hurt. The biting flies always attack me when im outside. The hen is broody. If they bite they are broody.

Carlies ears are from fly's biting her ears. they are relentless and draw blood. You have to get fly spray for dogs.

Hi Stephanie hope Leighton eyes are better my son used to get his eyes bad also inside too. He was anaphylactic too so used to get some really scary reactions. So understand what it’s like. I'm sorry for my daughter was allergic to cottonwood and she did the same thing we took her to the destruction Derby for her birthday one time and left at night time and she kept saying she couldn't see she couldn't see when we got in the car I turned to look at her and her eyes were closed shut. We moved to Montana and it and it wasn't near as bad
I used to put polysporin ear drops in my kids ears before swimming and it really helped.
Braylee you're so much braver than I was when I was your age.
I find that if dog's have ears that lay over. The humidity causes moisture in the ears. Which leads to infection.
