@@ro63rto The screws will make holes on the floor of the cupholder. With this armrest you will loose the use of the cupholder.

Intead of designing it to fit into the 2 cups holder, you want me to screw two huge bolts into my car?? no thanks.

It is a choice made to ensure safety in the car (which is also required by law for all car accessories). Without the two screws, the armrest could come off and injure the driver or passenger in an accident or sudden stop.
