  • I'm finally getting to demo this amazing Galloup Baritone, Mahogany/Italian Spruce guitar. This thing has the most full, rich, and pianistic sound I have ever heard come out of a guitar. Hopefully I captured some of that in this demo, as I'm still working on adjusting to the wider string spacing (28.9" scale length), heavier strings, etc. But wow, what a mellow, deep, and rounded sound from this acoustic monster. More tunes to come I'm sure!

What a beautiful guitar you have Ken. Nice playing too.
That is actually African Sapele back and sides on your guitar.
I have a an OM model made by Morgan guitars in North Vancouver Canada using the same woods.
I wish you many years of enjoyment playing that beautiful instrument.

@@BenDorm Thanks Ben, though I doubt the African Sapele assessment. I was just passing on info from the builder(Bryan Galloup), and I’ve never seen/known Sapele to look this incredible, but who knows? The pianistic tone is what floors me completely-never heard anything quite like it!
