Do you recommend this isx 800 for 1 acre? I prefer the speed, agility and time saving aspect and I think this would last me a lifetime. Worried about it being overkill or something or it being too much mower for 1 acre. I have a JD D170 54" (I know not apples to apples) and I am tired of moving at 3 mph and turning the darn steering wheel 100 times per cut.
It would depend on how much you want to spend. The 800 is awesome and has the suspension seat but I'm sure a 48 inch 400s or any of the 48 inch Ferris models would work just fine and would last you a long time. You can't beat the speed and quality of a these zero turns. Plus maneuverability. The 800 cost $8,000.00 and a 400s is usually around $5,000.00. Hope that helps! If you have any other questions just ask!
@@aaronstractorstuff7521 you are absolutely right. 400 will work, even 600 will work. I think I did so much research about decks, hydros, suspension that when I began to choose, I began looking at mid-level commercial due to performance and quality. After comparing mowers and brands and quality I got stuck on this 800 which offers a lot of bang for your buck.
@@JT-se6sy thanks for commenting! The 800 is is built like a tank!!! You can go over rough ground and just go like a mad man without getting bounced out of the seat! Lol!!! Definitely more bang for your buck. I use it commercially and it is super reliable and cuts so nice too. I also have a 700 too. I have another video that compares them.
You get to mow some pretty properties.
Great video my friend. 👍
Thanks!

@@aaronstractorstuff7521 thank you for the feedback.
@@rell5260 no problem. That's one of the reasons I started a UA-cam channel. Thanks for watching and commenting!
