It has no place on the collegiate level at all in my opinion. High school bands spitting that out every week! It dosent reflect any real discipline or skill.

I can tell you aren't very familiar with how MEAC bands get down.. But Hay is a MEAC staple.. SCSU, FAMU, BCU, and NSU all play Hay... You may not like the song selection, but you can't discredit the fact that the 101 played it well here.
Not really feeling this battle. The only song I really liked was SU playing Not My Kind of Girl. More songs like that and they'll be hard to beat this season. I kinda like the song they played after SCSU played breaking my heart. They were also crankin on last song but it was ok. IDK Wsup with SCSU. They chose mostly songs I like, but they sounded completely unready for this performance. The song didn't sound ready or like something was missing.

I wonder what's makes bands from other conferences and those without a football program out of no where want to challenge SWAC schools. Is it for recognition or exposure. Just saying is just seems like every conference is trying to copy SWAC STYLES band play if I'm wrong please stop me.

MEAC and all that concerto symphonic style of play not so popular at football games! NCAT and BCU are the top MEAC bands imo! Yes most MEAC bands sound amazing, but all that concerto symphonic sound during football season just not cutting it with today's youth! The only band that's not a part of the SWAC that should be is Miles! Miles PMM band bad to the bones imo! Miles need to be in the SWAC! Miles Director and his band musical style of play SCREAMS SWAC! As far as I'm concerned, Miles a SWAC band!
