Well its nice to hear someone's opinion focused on the product and not on the ELRS issues . We know that Jumper did a mistake not contacting with devs before release yet this radio gives so much more over zorro that its really hard to say no to ..
@@ATXAirborne Exactly what I think. I've got the radio and I am pretty happy with it. A lot of youtubers are just jumping on the hate train without actually knowing all aspects. This leads to a verry bad reputation of the radio which it does not deserve imo
so is it worth it to get this radio ? are the ELRS issues gone? I have the T-lite and im thinking of a decent upgrade and this radio sounds good enough for the money but im afraid of the ELRS issues... isn't there any fixes or something?
@@alaabashiyi3346 The issue if the radio is bricked is solved. There is videos how to fix the radio "if" that happens. Only issue I can mention is the gimbals hall effect sensors are too sensitive and gets jitter when the elrs module is at 500mw+ . Maybe they ve solved this as well but at my radio its like that
Thanks for the honest review, as I am a T pro user as well. Zorro and T-pro each have their flaws, but objectively Tpro is a better controller. Appreciate reviews like this instead of just jumping on the hate train for very subjective reasons. Great video!
I hadn't thought about the height of the sticks. Good observation there. I'm not sure if you commented on this but the radio looks cool. The two tone gray is a nice change.
thanks for this video, i ordered it yesterday, i watched a video of the zorro where the battery covers come off super easily and come off when your holding it sometimes, as someone who will charge it between flights instead of changing batteries, i would prefer it to be harder to put on but harder to accidently make it fall off. i have been thinking a lot about how i want to set up the buttons, also i looked up umbrella stick ends and i couldnt find anything
Thank you very much for the nice review. I read frequently that many people have encountered jitter problems in BF when the output power is above 100w, making the radio almost unusable at 1000w. Have you experienced this problem ? Could you eventually verify this ? Thank you very much in advante
Hi i just got mine....do i have to update it ...? Elrs isnot in the menu....i used it with elrs pwm for car ...but i lost the signal at 200m. How do i know that i used elrs activated. Thanks
I don't really think the momentary switches are a big deal. As I mentioned in the video, you do have to spend a few minutes configuring the radio to make them function the way you need for arming, but in terms of actually operating the switches, I find them to be as fast or faster than the toggle switches on other radios. I'm actually a pretty big fan of this setup now that I've flown with it for a while.
Thats to get the radio itsself into boot mode, not the ELRS module though. The updated version has a wire connected from the right momentary switch to the elrs module to get it in to boot mode if I recall correctly
I have the Zorro and have handled it quite a bit, but I haven’t flown with it yet. I will be testing it soon. Stay tuned for a video comparing a bunch of these gamepad radios :) Overall, I think I prefer the ergonomics and controls of the T-Pro. It looks and feels more premium to me, and surprisingly I prefer the buttons and switches on the T-Pro. The toggles on the Zorro are quite small and I felt like I had to be precise to hit them.
Take the sticks and grind the tip a little to your height ....BY FAR THE BAST RADIO ON THE MARKET I flew so far its crazy recommended a beeper with battery connect to 5v pad so your reciever always has power if you lose power takes to long to reconnect .. hahahah I jst got 1 has the new arm switch goes insanely far my second flight i had so much fun i forgot my battery voltage crashed and sank to bottom of canal I dove in saved my drone blew out with air gun asap and back up flying .. The bad thing with elrs is the time to bind when battery voltage drops to low for receiver shut off comes back on 9 out of 10 you crash

Couldn’t agree more. The ELRS issues are present, but IMO are way overblown.

Thanks for the reply man, in this case I'll consider the Zorro if it's on sale, or just the T-pro, i free style and i only flu on 100mW.
I like that they included the case and use 18650's in this radio. 👍
The only one to talk about the batteries thanks.
Thanks for the honest review! Yeah I know people have been smashing the Jumper T Pro, but
at the end of the day...it does has its good points :)

You can charge the 18650's from a charging cable just a heads up.

Had the same problem. I removed the stock antenna and installed a SMA adapter. That fixed it. Now i can screw on a nice small antenna.

I want to get this radio, but momentary switches is keeping me away. I'm really curious, what were they thinking?

With a simple sticky logical switch you can make 2pos switches out of them. No big deal at all
your radio is updated ! i think that you don't have to open the radio for boot , now it's under the antenna

@@TheFlash8889 thanks for the feedback
Very nice radio.
ANY DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ELRS AND 4in1?
Yes. The ELRS one has ELRS built in, whereas the 4 in 1 supports FrSky, FlySky, and many other protocols.
Did you have a chance to check the Radiomaster Zorro?
