  • I filmed this when working at my last company. I know everyone has their own way of doing these. Some glue the glass, some the body. This way works for me. Sorry I don’t talk to the camera. I hadn’t planned this being a UA-cam video originally.

That’s the beauty of the 5439AGS ,,,, they support themselves at the bottom,,, and the rubbers hardly rip,,,,, great footage,,, I never thought that Little Buddy would cope with the weight of a Sprinter

Thanks. I’m pretty much at my limit physically doing these. I’m building up the courage to replace one of these using the Pro Set. Could be the next video. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks pal. Plenty of UA-cam video watching and trial and error to get it going. Works just as well on the newer, trimless Sprinters too.

Hi, how are you positioning the Lil Buddy to accommodate for the divide in the door glass? Looks like you have it spot on 👌

Hi. Thanks, it works for me. Personally I put the Lil Buddy on the front vent. I set it as high as I can on the glass. Some people use the locking pin to lock the arm and then mount it on the doorglass. The poor training I was given on this tool when it first came out meant I was never shown how to do that. My training with Lil Buddy has basically been self taught trial and error and UA-cam videos. I’ll try and made a video of how I set this up when I next get one. I hope that helps. Thanks for your question.

I have water coming in my 67 plate sprinter. All in my footwell. Struggling to see where from though.
The liner on the firewall is soaking and so are my mats 🤦‍♂️
So definitely coming from dash level not higher
Is there any specific areas I should check ?

I can only really comment from a glass fitting perspective. Have you had glass changed recently? If you have, did you notice the water only after the work was done? It might be worth contacting whoever fitted the glass, if you’ve had any, you should have a warranty with the work.
Are any drainage holes blocked with dirt/leaves etc? Normally underneath the wiper motor and possibly on both sides of the vehicle. If they are blocked water might not need able to drain away and could be finding its way into your van.
Have you had a service recently? Perhaps some filters have been changed and not fitted back correctly? If so, I’d contact whoever did the work. I’m not a mechanic and this might be a complete guess at a cause.
I’m sorry but apart from this I’m not sure.
      Good luck.
