- What Really Happened To Food Network Star Sara Moulton?
From primetime star to persona non grata - what really happened to Food Network sensation Sara Moulton? One day, she was dicing and sautéing her way into America's hearts; the next, she was served her walking papers. But for this culinary queen, getting fired from Food Network was just the appetizer. Sara Moulton's journey from cable TV darling to culinary comeback kid is a tale spicier than her famous five-alarm chili.
So grab your oven mitts and prepare for a dish best served cold: revenge, with a side of success. This is the inside scoop on Sara Moulton's recipe for resilience in the face of reality TV's bitter aftertaste.BODY
I hardly ever watch the Food Network anymore. As someone has already commented, the competition style shows emerged, and they just turned me off! I really don't want to see people screaming obscenities at each other in the kitchen.
Food Network fired all the people who were actually teaching. Now it's worthless.
She is wonderful. Classy and easy to understand.
Sarah Molton is the best. Food Network made a huge mistake by eliminating her show and going to Guy Fiery monopolizing the network and to the food competition network. What a disappointment! Where can the average person now go to learn cooking techniques?
I don't watch Food Network much anymore they are into the entertaining part and not much into the cooking part! Love Sara Moulton, she is always great to watch!
Same with the travel channel.
The Food Network was so extraordinary and wonderful and then they went and ruined it and it is such a shame.
Sara is my favorite chef. I watched her shows all the time.
i have always loved Sara Moulton & was devastated when she was gone from Food Network. i watch very little on there now since they are into competitions reality tv.
Sara's got the drop on the Food Network. She rises above as they continue to sink into oblivion. Classiness always wins -- remember that, Food Network.
Sara- taught me how to cook and my young son. She taught me how to make mashed potatoes, the way they should be made! Have shared her tip with friends and family. She is awesome 😊 I don’t watch the Food Network since chefs like her are no longer on it!
I loved her show and now have found her on NPR!
This post about Sara has been very enjoyable and enlightening!!
Food Network has failed over the years. Sara has always been a favorite.
I dont watch food network anymore. The competition stuff is boring and repetitive. I miss programs like Taste with David Rosengarten.
I missed her so much when they canned her. It was almost like she died. I found out that she was still alive, but I never knew about the PBS show. I'm sorry I missed this, because she's one of the best.
I love Sara so much! Haven’t watched the network since she left. Still make her lemon bar recipe every year! ❤
Love,Love ,Love .
So glad to know you are doing well , Big fan 😮
I loved All of Sara Moulton shows. I miss them
She was dumped for the reality cooking competitions that the Food Network is now famous for!
Love Sarah!
Great cooking shows, that actually taught, were replaced by
silly cooking and baking game shows.
Why?
Sara has always been a favorite of mine. What a shame they let her go. I watch her whenever I can on PBS and youtube.
A wonderful article about Sara Moulton who I admire I know the challenge of being a woman chef it's tough, you have to always believe in your talent, I am now retired but love reading articles like this ❤
Glad to see Sarah Moulton on PBS where all real Chefs belong
She’s like Rachel Ray… only the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. Knows how to cook. Loves food, and not just eating it. Isn’t out to get rich quick by selling garbage products. She’s first class. Glad she left Food Network - she was too good for them. Let them have Guy Fieri and Rachel Ray and other fools.
Sara's recipes for homemade marshmallows and hot chocolate mix are staples for my holiday gifts. I enjoy her shows quite a bit and have learned everything from making marshmallows to hard boiled eggs (the right way)
Seems some don’t know a good thing when they have it not the first time!!
Sarah is my hero
I loved Sara!
Sarah Moulton was a PBS chef
I food Network now. Competition shows suck
An absolute favorite ❤️ !!!
My women mentors are Jane Goodall and Sara Moulton…and more -people who stay true to themselves and don’t give up!!
The Food Network has served itself up as a bitter dish. There is nothing of worth and learning on a once great channel.
Best thing that could have happened to her to get tossed from the game show network with food . What happened to the food network is another story . She's great and I can't wait to see her on the Hungry live stream every weekend
Genius
I listen to her on the Milk Street podcast with Chris Kimball.
