I did not believe in Doshas since they did not seem to apply to me. As a nutritionist it used to cause me problems with clients who wanted to adapt their diet to their Dosha. Then when I saw someone trained in them we found out I have all three balanced which is why I did not feel they applied to me. Thank you for the beautiful explanation 🙏🏻

I have such ill health I hope to learn..I came here because I have parasites and constantly crave cold beverages .. I will not be discouraged I will not fear I will love myself to health
I don't think kapha imbalance causes , respiratory issues. Its always vata which causes respiratory disorders. Also pitta disorders such as auto immune diseases can be cured by changing lifestyle and with herbs
I always thought I was kapha in the past, due to my cold intolerance and history of having been overweight due to unhealthy food choices, but the last 2 years I've been eating healthy and last year also gotten to a normal weight, although i fail to gain arm and muscle strength and look pretty lean, which is more like vata, aside from the fact that i also since i was very young always was a deep thinker instead of speaker, of course its more balanced now socially, but when it comes to health problems i still face bad blood flow through my hands, toes and hair, which most likely is causing my hair fall, winter fingers/toes in cold seasons and eczema in the summer upon hitting my fingers too much in the heat My favorite climate has always been summer with alot of humidity (probably because im half Brazilian) thus i love tropical weather, although im not sure what I'm doing wrong in my diet to have such annoying ailments, especially my hair keeps just falling and falling and i only have 1/4th left of what i used to have 🥲 Hopefully I'll find the root cause soon, i think i may be both kapha and vata 🙏
It's vata I also have skin peeling when summers come . And difficulty in sleeping. Do abhyanga and eat oil with sabzi and eats oats , oily in soup or ghee . Do abhyanga , eat soaked Fenugreek in night before dinner
I disagree. From those that i know that are homeless their level of mental, physical an psyhcological levels are imbalanced and they typically put & keep themselves in that position & majority its their choice to do so.
@@t2hbunnythese pple who talk about dhosa theory are mentally deranged , the humoral theory is out dated and cannot be proved scientifically, medical science has evolved and evolving , these pseudo doctors hanging on to the dead past , public must take informed decisions reg their health not by listening to pseudoscience ✋✅😅😅😅😅
I have a question: Let's say I have Kapha and Pitta doshas, which means I tend to like slow pace activity but I also sometimes have explosive burst of emotion, but I feel like Kapha is more dominant because I feel like Kapha's characteristics are more like me. Does that mean I need to prioritize to balancing Kapha dosha first, and Pitta later?
Actually, our body build up with all three dosha because without tridosha body can't work. balancing the dosha is depending on diet you taking so is you taking more sweet, slimy and snigdh diet it will lead to kapha vridhi like that if you taking light ,cold and dry diet the it will lead to vata vridhi. So you need to consume proper diet .it's no need to prioritise dosha If its aggravated then you have to pacify it.
Why is frozen food not recommended as per Ayurveda? Especially there is lot of published evidence of frozen fruits and vegetables retain most of their nutrients when frozen but all Ayurveda experts still do not recommend using them. Can I know in detail why is it not recommended? And what kind of ailments can it cause?
if you have both vat and pitta then you should include madhur diet (sweet)it helps to calm down both doshas .it decreases heat in body and helps to gain weight and increase kapha in body that is helpful for immunisation of body
Can your dosha change as you grow older or does it remain the same? I'm 100% sure I was Vata when I was younger but now as I'm older I think I'm leaning more towards Kapha.
Niko, I thought I'd answer your question because I am a Holistic Ayurvedic Coach. We are all born with all 3 doshas, but everyone is born with a different amount of each particular dosha. This makes sense when you think that we must have all 5 elements in our body to survive (space, air, fire, water, earth). Let's say you were born with more air and space elements in your body (vata) and were more active when you were younger (since vata is air and space, it is able to move quickly and is very light). Then, as many of us get older, we become more sedentary by sitting in front of computers all day, and commonly eat heavier to digest foods (think processed food, meat, and dairy vs light roasted vegetables), we will increase the earth and water elements in our body (kapha dosha) which can lead to us having more sluggishness, weight gain, water retention, congestion. Ayurveda teaches the principle that like increase like and opposites reduce each other. So whatever qualities you have too much of, we can simply consume foods and perform activities of the opposite quality to get back into balance. I hope you found this informative.
No the basic dosha or prakriti of a person never changes but the dominance changes over time...kapha is dominant during child hence fever cough are common diseases then young age is dominant by pitta that is why appetite is strong and stomach related issues then in old age vaata is dominant hence the joint pain indigestion lack of energy
Madam from your video I come to know that I have kapha dosha that is the reason why I feel lethargic and lazy during winters can you sugy me diet for winter season

Namaste, People with Pitta dosha should live in cool, calm environments and eat cooling, hydrating foods like fresh fruits (apples, pears) and vegetables, while avoiding spicy, fried, and excessively hot foods to maintain balance.
Namaste, Legumes are high in protein, which is why they help replenish the collagen our body needs to rebuild the cartilage in our knees. They are high in protein and have amino acids and lysines, both of which are essential when trying to rebuild knee cartilage naturally.
Namaste, For a vata-dominant constitution, opt for warm, nourishing foods like soups and khichdis, practice grounding exercises like yoga , and choose a climate that is warm and humid to balance vata's cold and dry tendencies.
