Not every character has access to consistently around 6k damage off a knockdown scenario or 8k with full resources. The opponent is gonna play way more defensive against Bison if they have a bomb on. They’re less likely to risk the OD dp if they’re gonna die for guessing wrong.

Wait, I’m mad confused about the micro walk combo. If you’re at max drive meter, how is the microwalk building bar to prevent burn out and give you the last OD move?
Small buffer after letting go of charge to input the button to do the special let's you do a little walk forward. Think of it as the opposite of Guile's perfect booms, instead of hitting forward and punch at the same time you want to hit punch as late as possible after hitting forward.
I did all the combo's of every character but I cant get M Bison advanced combo 5 to work. I can't combo past his EX head stomp.. the f-HP always whiffs.. Combo is at 1:00

Been learning some combos with bison and his routes feel weird to me like the gravity is real wonky. Been experimenting what i can get off of od kick and to me it seems like there isnt much you can use to extend the combo due to the recovery of the move. Is it just me or am i missing something?
is there a tutorial anywhere explaining exactly how to micro walk? i get what it is, but i dont understand how youre suppose to microwalk in the middle of a charge move. i can even understand the concept of like pausing between left and right slightly but it never comes out for me. theres gotta be an in depth on this somewhere right?
The first combo starts with a punish so they set so every first hit is a punish rather than having the character whiff something. But the second combo isn't a punish since you can't get a punish with a meaty outside of training mode so they change it to be a normal hit.

The max combos are cool and all but there’s huge misconception with him not doing dmg without bomb. the fact he’s doing 6k for 1 EX MOVE so it’s less than 2 bars by the time the combos finished on a Dp punish so he’s really just waiting for you to make that one fatal mistake keeps him in the game the whole match no matter how down he is just playing solid.
Wait... People thought akuma was the hardest hitting dlc character? Aki literally has a 7069 damage combo, which involves bursting a poison at the end. If you don't pop it, you trade 8 damage for a other 420, so she has a 7.350 damage combo with poison. I know aki is unpopular but come on...

Useful for comparing damage across different routes from the same situation, or just practicing the back half of a long combo without repeating the beginning every time, as you see here.
I think the trend of new releases having one move with super overtuned damage and combo potential is kinda lame. akuma with ex flame and bison with ex crusher. But oh well. Maybe when this game gets balrog I'll download it again

Currently i’m 500~ points away from being master rank, and i have yet to see a Bison player that even attempts anything with him that’s not backpedal -> psycho crusher or his whateveritscalled flip kicks to jab jab and repeat.

None of the crazy bomb combo damage stuff bugs me, I just wish the scissor kicks were a little less free. I can always take the throw if I get stuck with a bomb and have Bison running after me... but I'm not confident I can shut down those scissor kicks.
My problem with Bison is that he’s giving even Akuma a run for his money on mobility. Someone like him doing absurd damage should not be able to get in your face as quickly as he does, it’s insane.

@@alfredososa3059every characters got a -5 on block invincible to strike and throw reversal so that’s not really true. A character don’t have to have everything to be top 5 either. Still too early to tell where he will be in the tiers when he’s fully figured out imo
The way I see it, once you have the bomb on, it’s always his turn. The bomb fills in any gap he has, and any hit can be converted into landing another bomb, repeating the cycle over and over again. You should not be able to detonate and land another bomb in the same combo.
If it's not bison it'll be cammy or Luke or gief or etc. Bison is not that busted you're just losing to something new. As you'll learn things will stabalize

If the opponent is mined, ex head stomp into the punch followup into CA, easy 7100 damage. The ex stomp doesn't scale.
Doing OD devils reverse punch with a bomb on them into CA is already 7100
The CA does 100% damage and is completely unscaled

If you do it fast enough (walking for 1-2 frames) you keep your charge

If you want to practice a combo off of a Punish Counter, but with a reset in it, you need to stop and turn the punish counter setting to off.

They will just OS your reverse by not pressing a button. Or if they see a coming they will just dp you out the sky.
