Nice Video Brain F I can not get enough of Bison saying "Word" and was wondering If could ask you some questions? First off how did you adapt to SF having DR and DI? and do you like DR and DI? and lastly what do you find fun about Street Fighter 6 right now? What keep you coming back to this game even with Street Fighter 6 being different compared to the other games? Chat if you are reading this you can respond to I am really interested in hearing all answers. As for Brain F if you do respond thanks I appreciate you taking the time out of your day ^w^
DI was actually pretty easy to adapt to since it's a very simple mechanic, you just DI back or do Super, punishing it eventually becomes an instinct just like anti airs. dRush meanwhile is a much more complicated beast in the neutral since you can do pretty much any attack out of it, the timing and the spacing also affect how you have to answer it too, it can be really annoying lol Honestly the Drive System is the thing I care the least about in this game, I actually find it to be rather problematic. However I think that SF6 absolutely nails how buttons work, every move is very weighty and you can whiff punish a lot of stuff, the game feel when you're hitting people is great too. also, word.
@@nickkiller-0710 Thanks for your response I will agree DI is not to hard to deal with but DR is I am trying to get into SF and just want anyone's advice or knowledge on how they adapted to Drive Rush
@@Yuka-pi6zf oh I see, the thing with dRush is that it's really dynamic depending on the character and the ranges. For most characters your best button to stop a regular dRush (from midrange) is your cr mp, but against something like a DJ, Juri or now Bison instead of going for a medium it might actually be better to use a light button since they have faster dRushes, this also applies when a character with a regular dRush does it from a close range. There's also times where it's better to not challenge, dRush into jab for example is hard to stop and can be quite strong on hit but usually doesn't give good pressure on block depending on the range, even at the highest level players make the conscious decision to just block it at times. The one thing that absolutely hard counters dRush tho is fireballs, I play Juri and when I'm fighting a dRush happy opponent just chucking a fireball at the right timing can make it much harder for them to approach. But it really boils down to experience and character knowledge, you really have to get a feel for it, I recommend doing some training drills using the record function on training mode, and when in doubt, just block it because if you get counter hit it can mess you up.
I personally like the Drive system in general. It's very dynamic, though it does add a lot to the mental stack. That, along with the polish, solid game feel, visuals and stylish flair of the game definitely makes it my favorite SF and fighting game of all time. DI just takes a while to get used to reacting to, and after that it's a very risky option than can have a large payout if you're right or they fail to react. Don't be discouraged if you keep getting hit or wallsplatted by it, it can take a long time to start to nail the reaction in real matches. Drive Rush is something else, but I also like it as I'm a big fan of both the agility it offers, and also the satisfying extended combos it allows. Keep in mind that DR varies a lot per character, and what button you use to check it will depend on both your opponent's character, and also your distance. Crouching MP is best for a lot of characters from a moderate distance, but a LP might be needed from close. I've even checked with Juri's long-reaching HP if they do it from too far away in some situations. Learning that will just take a lot of experience since it's character-specific. Setting things up in the lab, getting muscle memory, then taking that into Hub or casual matches is the way to learn these things. For example, randomized wakeups for the training dummy, or randomized manual recordings can help you learn to react to things. Random block can help you learn to confirm, etc. Just take it one step at a time, and you can go far!
I hate him. I've never played Bison in previous games but nothing makes sense in regards to his moveset. Low to medium to heavy is impossible to do with DR, psycho crusher sucks, scissor kicks are not as good as everyone says (I don't know why US players respect it, everyone just blocks and wait there apparently to see their drive gauge deplete) stHP sucks, his so slow with his normals that you get counter hit on every single whiff, he's vulnerable to DI, his bomb gimmick sucks (only noobs get hit by it, 99% of the time you lose the bomb on a trade, a throw or a parry/DI). It's just there to get +frames occasionally. He looks cool but he's the worst to play of all characters. Totally not my type of character.
@@nyrva2876 lmao he's easily one of the strongest characters, his combo and damage scaling is insane, and his mine isn't a gimmick, it's good for mixups and only bad players use it raw lmao
