New subscriber here! I have watched all your AT videos, your simplicity and the way you showed the real world that most of us live in makes your videos different from many others. Thanks
Thanks for putting this video together. I have bought a ton of Tusk products through the years and have not been disappointed. I have purchased these tires and looking forward to making the change from my T7 original tire’s Pirelli STRs to these. Thanks again for putting these tires to the test.
Nice review! That leap onto the bike earned you a new subscriber. 😂 I appreciate what feels like genuine honesty in your reviews. It seems like that has become lacking in many other yt tire review videos. Thanks for the great work!
This video makes me miss Missouri, there is so much to explore! The AT sounds great and you're way more brave with it than I was with mine. Every time I was riding alone and hit that soft riverbed gravel my pucker factor went through the roof because I knew I'd never get the bike out if I got it beached on the skid plate haha. Looks like the tires held up well, Missouri has the sharpest rocks I've ridden anywhere.
I have the KTM 390, 19 front and 17 rear, hoping they stock these sizes in the near future. I was considering the Trailmax Mission Raids, but now, I think these are the tires for the price. Thanks for the reviews.
Thanks for the review! My friend sent me your channel. I’m in Black MO, would love to ride with you sometime, we have endless two track and gravel roads. I also have a twin
Hey thanks!, I'm sure we will met eventually, I don't venture down there much...I do need to make a trip up in the mine pit near Bixby for some footage though sometime!
@dimsyadventures I ride 12 months out of the Year up here in the Northeast. I just found your channel also, so I subscribed and I'm looking forward to more videos from you
I bought a 2017 AT DCT in October with 542 miles only, the dealer sold the bike in 2019 to the previous owner. It still has the factory tire 90/10, I'm thinking about change them for a 70/30. I live in NJ and the only great area to go off road is Pine Barrens, but it has a lot of sand. My off road knowledge is low and sand still a nightmare for me. I wouldn't want to sacrifice my safety on the asphalt by using tires for occasional off road, that's why your tests are helpful. Where do you think I can go with tires and it keeps everything well on the asphalt? What other tire options would you recommend? Thanks
You'd be surprised how well alot 70/30 tires will do on pavement, sand isnt going to be great on any tire with a big bike, especially a rider without the experience, the maxn style road tire I use is the Motoz GPS, but it's a handfull when slick/sand...big bikes take a tad more skill off-road then a lightweight..other tires I don't mind, would buy if I needed tires and the Motoz wasn't available are Mitas E07 or Trail Max Mission...I'm curious about the trail max raid...I may try them out of curiosity next
I'm a little east of KC, and i don't feel like there's really anything around me other than straight gravel roads. Where were these trails at? The Mark Twain Forest?
Where at in Missouri are you riding? We are planning a few days near Chadwick and Branson this summer and want to get into something exactly like what I see in this video!
Buddy, your intensity and mount style just earned another subscriber! Love it. I am torn between an Akrapovic and your yoshimura exhaust… how do you like yours so far?
Right on. Yeah, it sounds like it has a mixture of deep and sharp tones to it. I really just want a deeper note. Really enjoying your videos bud. You’ve picked up a few fans over here in North Ga!
@@dimsyadventures well, that certainly helps me with my decision process. I look forward to seeing what direction you go. You may be encouraging me to give my Motoz ADV tires a break and test out these Tusk tires!
@@dimsyadventures beautiful bike too, by the way. I have the same year and color. Picked mine up a few months ago with 3000 miles on it! Love this bike

Thanks!

Great review, thanks

heck yeah man, nice complete testing of the tire. Thanks for your efforts and input on Tusk 2Track tires.

nice launch onto the twin and excellent take off!!! I gotta practice that this summer. Solid review, thank you.
Thanks!
Great testing method! I really enjoyed it. Thanks. Ray
No problem! Real word testing is the best, no bs, no shortcuts!
I just put Tusk EMEX T 35 on my KLX 300 and love them

You make some really good videos.
Thanks, I appreciate it.
Nice - I know a few in the group are looking for an alternatives to the MotoZ as they have a habit of splitting. Definitely glad you shared.
Glad to help...I'm a fan of Motoz myself, I guess I've gotten lucky with them holding so far..so far these tusk are holding well.
Tusk makes great products at a very fair price!

I don't know the Missouri mud but the Louisiana mud is full of clay. I'd like to see those tire test here.
I'll be traveling this spring/summer, I may be back in Mississippi too, I'll of course video results on different terrain.
@@dimsyadventures Excellent, I'll be very interested to see the results.
Great video! What exhaust system are you using? Love the sound.
Thanks, it's a Yoshimura rs4 with spark arrestor

You should bring these to the upcoming GOAT rally in your neighboring state.
Thanks but I generally don't do rides/meetups.
Them Tires took some punishment
Nice video! I love Motoz tires but I don't love the prices, I'll definitely be trying these Tusk tires next
Thanks...Yea nearly $400 a set gets old, especially if one rides a lot, hope these tires last as long as the Motoz and do good as wear continues.

Are these tubed or tubeless tires?
The website says tube or tubeless, may differ between sizes.
Hello! 35 psi both front and rear?
Correct, that's what feels good for me, definitely try different psi for yourself
