MPC Beats Very Basic Tutorials -Metronome-

In this video i go over the functions of your metronome, time base and BPM tool bar. I also explain the difference between a bar, beat, and quarter beat. I also touch on time correct and some of its benefits. Important Note: At the 20min mark of this video the function that allows you to start your play back cursor from any point of your song is Shift-Space Bar as i mention in the video. Even though it did not work a few times. Be sure that your screen is engaged in order for this function to work. What happened at the end was that you used ctrl while dragging your mouse, which ignores grid snapping. You kept placing the playhead cursor in the first bar (check the timing), thus playing back the first bar from the beginning. So essentially you don't even have to put it precisely at the start of a bar (learned this while watching your video).
Thanks for the thorough explanation. I was having trouble with the metronome being off after the pre-roll. As a last resort I played back to see if the metronome was on, which it wasn't, so thay way I found the solution by myself. Nonetheless, I still watched your video till the end, because thoroughness is rare these days.
