MPC Beats Very Basic Tutorial -Quick Export-
In this video i explain how to export your MPC audio/midi data from one DAW screen to another without creating a stems file. With this technique you are able to simply drag and drop. This is a great tip for creating live, in a studio setting. It helps keep a time constructed work flow while the ideas are happening in real time. This technique works with most all big name DAW's. I printed the manual online but your tutorial is a heck of a lot more helpfull! I love the sounds I can get out of this tabletop machine. I have the silver one! Korg makes some fantastic gear!
Your tutorials are always so to-the-point and easy to understand. You really simplify this MPC Beats software and make it understandable. I'd love to see more tutorials about assigning samples to pads and keys. Maybe with a few more this will all stick permanently in my head.

I thought I was the only one with that issue. How to return to MAIN View after opening the MIXER WINDOW. What I do is actually Close the Mixer Screen, the MPC Software will still be op[en but nothing will show, so what I do then is to switch to a different open App o my Mac, then return back to the MPC Software, and the MAIN Page magically shows up... AKAI needs to correct this.

Alas when I got my Akai MPK mini with free MPC beats! however when I got through all the signing up and downloading it, It came back my MAC High Sierra was too old to have MPC beats! scammed or what!

I think we can help. On your screen q links, make sure that the knob that says 'Time Correct' is ON. This should now allow you to snap you midi info to the grid. 😀👍

Can't we use without using thus external beat equipment?
Absolutely! It is all patterns Hercules. If you are good with patterns you can definitely draw out beats manually. If you know keyboard chords and at least a little sense of musical theory you could be able to do chords and sounds and all of that just by using your mouse and your mouse pad.
I believe on one of my videos I make I am doing it manually and not using any external equipment at all. I want to say it was either the metronome video or the exploding tracks videos where I mentioned that I am not using an external device.

@teamuncoordinated630 it’s a shame that Akai’s “official” vids for MPC Beats are not this easy as yours. I’m a newb and frustration is what I experience as a new “producer.”
Thank You so much @soulciallyAdept for the comment. Yes music writing and producing can be frustrating. Our goal here at the studio and with our videos is to make things simple when you are creating. If you know the fundamentals of the DAW you are producing with. It makes things way easier to understand. I myself am still fairly new with MPC Beats. But i have been working in studios long enough that this kind of stuff comes natural to me. But just because i can pick this up quickly doesn't mean others can do the same. Has anyone had a problem with MPC beats not letting you change the amount of bars when setting a new sequence? Eg:- I type in 4 and it keeps switching back to 1 or 2. Any help much appreciated
