I would really like for ya'll to watch an NBA rules video, because so many of your questions and misunderstandings about the game could be solved. You did it for the NFL, and I'm sure Jimmy Highroller has an entertaining video on it.

When you play with skill…..good luck WILL happen😊..every kid who ever play basketball ball growing up in the states plays the three…two…one….buzzer beater game…..every 12 year old spends Hours in their drive way or park or gym heaving it from half court 😂

In the first clip he's playing aginst Blake Griffin. In that clip he's playing with Blake. Contrary to what Dave said, Griffin clearly practiced doing that. He wasn't throwing it up for a dunk.

@@FeedRevo It's more fun when they do understand all of culture, the actual game of bb, trades, intrinsic team issues, which OB does not, because then they will have a more nuanced view of Harden rather than just attributing "trouble making" to him with no real context.

Most of these are skill, even if low percentage shots. Curry, Paul George... these are the best basketball players in the world, they know what' they are attempting in most of these scenarios.

Good point Dave, even in HS we always ended practice shooting from half court for fun and often times the coaches would jump in.

The ball is only out of bounds if it physically touches the line or the player touching the ball has a bodypart on the line...it's not like soccer where if the ball goes over the line in the air it's out. You can still save it if the ball crosses the line but hasn't hit the ground. Also if the ball hits behind the backboard or anything above it, it's out...side of the backboard is in play

Hilarious that Dame’s shot took some of the most skill out of any of these videos and still got a “that’s luck”. Players put backspin on the ball so there’s a higher chance of the ball staying on the rim. Some luck but a lot of skill.

5:50 The foul was "before shooting motion" which means it was a floor foul and not a shooting foul. But the fact that he decided to shoot as soon as he knew he was fouled was an attempt at going to the line, or just out of boredom lol.

most of these had a decent amount of skill. whoever created this video that named it "all luck, no skill" has obviously never played basketball. There is a reason MOST of these clips were by stars of the game, that find a way to get the ball where it has a chance to go in. obviously some of the clips were just that, luck. But most had skill.

  • @cindymatthewsarrowdalearts6449

These guys make these shots because of their intense training, on and off the court, which gives them a keen situational awareness. They always have a sense of where they are on the court, how many steps away from the key, etc. I think it also gives them muscle memory. I know things I've done a thousand times, I don't have to think to do them. I think that's what happens here, too.
