Rapha Core Long Sleeve Jersey Review

It's a new kit day! I recently purchased the Core Long Sleeve Jersey from Rapha, so I thought I'd share a little review. This review includes the features of the jersey, as well as my likes and dislikes of it.

Thanks Lee! sized down and went for a small for a tighter fit (I’m a medium normally @70kg) but have found some rapha kit to be more of a relaxed fit so if you prefer it slightly more relaxed then normal size is fine 👍

For fit, you got the small. Do you need to size down with these for the snug fit? I'm 5'11, not sure if I should get a medium or small.

I find the rapha core kit comes up in a slightly more relaxed fit to the pro stuff… I’m 5’11 and 70kg and got a small if that helps 👍

Nice detailed review there mate. What you usually wear on a normal shirt ? I’m 170 cm tall and I wear medium to large normal t shirts, what size should I go on a Rapha?

Thanks 😃 and hard to say based off normal clothing I am 5ft 11-68kg and wear a medium in normal clothes but this is a pretty relaxed fit. I would say with rapha the sizing is very similar to other high end brands on the market. (Except castelli that comes up very small!)

Ditto on the simple designs for kits... I’m not a fan of their classics or the Brevet, nor their thermal pro’s (sleeves are too long and loose for my taste/size)... the only jersey’s I focus on with them are their aero jerseys... I love the form fit and materials... like you said, Rapha’s gear is expensive af, but the customer service helps justify their prices... 🤷🏽‍♂️🍻

Simple designs just look so much smarter and interesting will have a look at the aero jerseys, got a bit put off after buying the classic and brevet 🤷‍♂️ Am yet to have to deal with customer service... but I have heard good things and they do a crash repair which is great but hoping not to crash 😂😂

No problem 👌 and I am yet to wear it on a hot day, but I think it will be to warm and I would choose a “pro” style jersey over this as they tend to be thinner and not fleece lined 👍

How cold are your rides with this jersey on?

Probably around 10* as a guess but I never really look at the temp but any lower I would wear a warmer jacket
