Great video and great to hear about the Fusion! I do have to say that the Axe system works very well with low gearing (stock included 12t) and modified throttle settings on the transmitter. This was key. I'm using the TQi with Bluetooth link. Very easy to use but of course it is extra $$$
The stock radio works fine but I gained more control with the Flysky GT5. They are around $79 on Amazon. I have the 3,300 Axe in my TRX6 and the controller made it even easier to crawl.
Awsome truck only one thing I don't like those tires I purchased them also they are nice and soft with a great looking tread but without traction. They are better than stock but I got a old pair of proline swamper 1.9 predator from a friend off a axial bomber that had a brushless system in it so there kinda wore out but they still grip twice as good as duratrax I even have the showdowns also which are better than deepwoods but don't compare to proline swampers. Trust me your spending this kinda money on motors the number one upgrade on any truck is tires so I wouldnt go cheap. I wish I wouldn't have purchased both sets of my duratrax they just sit now. Get the proline swampers either compound with dual stage foams I think you will love them. Also proline dual stage may not be the best get somekind though.
Yea I'm making the financially irresponsible decision to buy the fusion next week. I really wanted to piece together a cool one off Capra with my choice of parts but the market between cheap sensored crawler ESC and expensive esc does not exist. This is my only option. And I am willing to make extensive mods to my chassis to make it fit.
Nice one! Which high clearance links do you have? Also, is there much difference in top speed between the stock motor and the fusion? Say on 2 or 3s? Thanks dude!
Centre of gravity custom links in the UK lads on Facebook, the fusion is about the same as the stock motor geared down with more torque and control I've always ran 3s but do have a spare 2s fair bit slower but fine for technical crawling but not trailing
I just got the 3300 system installed and I’m not very happy with the low end control. Thinking about going to the 1800. After your video I definitely think I’m going to.
The 3300 is a great system super smooth start up and bags of power but I found that there wasn't much control low end and you had to be super smooth with the throttle, the fusion has more low down control and the first cm of throttle is very linear. Of course it has alot less power but I prefer it for the driving I do 👍🏻
What gearing are you using? I'm running 45t spur and the stock 12t pinion. I do have a 11t to put in but it does work very well. I changed the throttle settings using the blue tooth link, this was key. I have the TQi remote and my TRX4 is the Merc. The Axe system will work great if you can adjust the throttle settings on the transmitter
On the fusion system? My axe I was running 45/12 and I was using a gt5 transmitter so i had the throttle curve smoothed out. It was just personal preference for me that I prefer the fusion. Both great systems 👍🏻

BTW, just to note I am running HW app version 2.1.0 (15) and database version 2021-02-02 (66) software and upgraded the firmware on the ESC when I got it as instructed. Required a bit of trimming and adjustment, the sides where the receiver box etc sits have been chopped down alot.rear of my chassis has been chopped as its bobtailed. So for me didn't take too much, might be a different case for a standard one. Hope this helps 👍🏻

I have the 3,300kv system in the TRX6 and it works very well. Went down to an 11T pinion. Still plenty fast and crawls very well.

Was the body hard to fit the trx4?
