I have been in the upholstery business for 35 years, her trimming is absolute quality.
Ah, that is very kind of you, she'll be reading all the comments so she'll be bowled over by your comments, thank you.
Indeed always good to see another to a craft well.
Great bit of trim Del, makes a world of difference. Lots of ❤for the "Lass" at 'Lucky Foot Trimming', it's always a pleasure watching a true artisan at work. What a stunning job, well done.
So true Shaun, fascinating to watch her work, was an honour to be able to share her skills with our viewers... glad you enjoyed! Have a great weekend, D&Px
She works like a machine, you can see a lifetime of experience there. Great results too.
The attempts I have had at making a seat for my bike.
I have gone through three camping mats and now have my desired seat, not 100% but pretty close.
Love the seat on your bike, Del, but the problems I have had with a pro trimmer here left me with a sore and blood-stained, painful bum outch.
Just go's to show that going to a reputable trimmer makes all the difference!
That young lady is an absolute artist ! You're lucky to have someone local who does such beautiful work. Great choices on the design too. I bet after starring in some Delboy's Garage videos Miss Lucky Foot will have more work than she can keep up with and deservedly so. Thanks, Del and Penny for the field trip. Stay well and happy my friends. ❤👍👍
You're right Rick, she is very talented and has some great design ideas too... and you're right, hoping she'll get some orders as we all need to support small businesses. Glad you enjoyed the video, wishing you a great weekend there, take care, D&Px
So pleased this lady is getting the recognition she deserves .. I got my triumph street scrambler seat trimmed by lucky foot and am very pleased
Thats a nice seat.
Beautiful finish to the seat very talented lady nice job I enjoyed watching the process thanks Del
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it, and it was good to spend a day outside the garage!
Wow, what a nice transformation! I totally see what you mean about how the new visual changes the "feel" of the whole seat profile, without actually altering the physical dimensions. Quite brilliant, really. One of the things I cringe away from the most, is when Hipsters get a hold of a bike and make it a "Cafe Racer" complete with a flat as a board, quilted light brown vinyl seat, utterly ruining any nice lines or looks that might have been possible, lol.
Yes indeed, there is a mark of talent you can't teach!
Gorgeous. Sets the bike off a treat. Something very beautiful to ride through the summer months ..... enjoy :)
Thanks Tony will do, now the summer's starting, got to get out!
That looks great, she is clearly very talented.
Sure thing buddy, she certainly is!
I have my very own lovely trimmer lady but I don't actually see the process only the beautiful result!
So this was a very enjoyable video. What a skilled artisan she is.
I'm also guilty of calling her an upholsterer. When she does purely vehicle work.
Peace love and hugs to all. ✌️❤️🤗
Delboy's Garage.. That seats looks a lot better now. Simple things.
Thanks buddy, hope you're keeping well there?!
This was soothing to watch after a long day.
What a transformation! I need to look around and find a local trimmer like her! Love how it ties everything together!
May be worth contacting her direct David and asking, she may be able to help and perhaps ship it back to you?!
Another left handed artist.
Yes indeed, only the best of us lol
How nice to see a Trimmer who knows their craft so well. You are very lucky Del. I think I will have to emigrate back to the UK if only for an excellent Trimmer.
Sure thing Steve, a very talented lady, and there's always post and shipping, you could send your seat over, have some conversations on Zoom and she'll send it back when done, why not drop her a line.
Fascinating to watch Del and what a result - looks good on the bike 👍
Looks fab Del! I will follow your advice, and have a nice seat done for my Speed Triple RS. The OEM seat is as hard as a board after an hour on it!
Excellent, I've seen her do some awesome seats on Triumphs!
It was enjoying to watch a true crafts person at work
Dam fine double diamond stitching. Melly's Speedmaster has a similar look with a antique gold over aged black leather. Soo nice. Bike's lookin fine. Cheers!
Mike
You're right buddy, there's nothing like some fine upholstery to finish a beautiful bike! Have a great weekend you two, D&Px
She did an outstanding job
Lovely work what a talented woman. Looks fantastic on the bike
Thanks mate, will pass your wishes on to her!
Greetings Del. That seat looks great. Your seamstress certainly knows her stuff. Stay well my friend.
She does indeed Sir, what a wonderful natural talent and a fabulous home set up too! Hope you're well, always good to hear from you.
A very talented woman. Two thumbs up....🇧🇻🇧🇻
Beautiful craftsmen’s job!
Fantastic job, turned out big WOW.
Upholstery and Trimmer (in motorcycles as in furniture):
The separation between the two professions exists mainly in large factories, then usually the trimmer will also have an academic degree in industrial specialization. The trimmer is the senior from the two.
Trimmer skill is considered a more difficult to achieve. The trimmer has to plan how to use the area of the fabric in the most efficient way, the trimmer has to consider the direction of the fibers of the fabric, the trimmer adapts the design to the lines of the seat, etc.
Those who have both skills Upholstery and Trimmer sometimes use only the higher degree: Trimmer.
That's really interesting mate, and you're right, it's quite a complex process as you say, selecting the right materials, cutting, planning and design... it was an honour to be able to spend time with Rabbit in her domain, she's done an absolutely job on my seat!
@@Moonfleet41 💖
Just returned from a week of touring D Day sites inc 6 hours each way up n back. Custom seat on my Tiger 955i is so comfortable, well pleased.
An artist at work there. Well done, great job.
That was some good water proofing Del.
Amazing job. What a true artist!
Wow!! Looks fantastic!! Very well talented !! Wished she lives nearby here!! I’m pretty impressed!!
Distance is no problem, if you were happy to cover shipping, you could send it over and then she could send it back, the world' is a village!
Shipping from USA 3x more than shipping to USA… kinda unfair. Oh well.. she seems pretty Kwel lady..
Spooky. I met her on the Savages MC run last weekend. Saw the photo of her thumb from when she cut it.
Spooky indeed, I met her first at Savages MC custom show last year!
Excellent finished seat, that lady certainly knows her job del. Great video of a professional trimmer at work. Enjoy your day Del/Penny all the best. Don.
Thanks Don, it was an honour to be invited along and see the process, it makes you realise what work goes in to custom seats! Have a great weekend yourself, D&Px
Both bikes are looking just awesome these days! I'm just back into town from another stint of work in the 'bush' and it's great to get caught back up with your projects! How great to have connections to such a great Fitter - beautiful work! I am finally back on the bike here as of a few days ago....what a lousy Spring it's been for weather!! Cheers to you both...ride safe!
Hey Allen, good to hear you're well and having some time at home where you can now enjoy your bike... I know you've said before the weather's not been brilliant, the same here (obviously not as bad), but finally the sun has come out at long last... you ride safe mate, enjoy your time off, chat soon, D&Px
@@Moonfleet41 Really appreciate that you always take the time to reply to me, thank you! Got a 10 day trip planned for late June, looking forward to that!! ATB
One very talented lady 👏🏻 vast improvement, enjoy the weekend!
Thanks Dave, have a great weekend!
What a cool looking seat! Much improved!
Incredible work! Gonna have to look her up!
Beautiful work by a lovely lady . Quality all round . 😎👍
Glad you enjoyed it Nick!
I realy liked the way you interact with others to bring a culmination of quality craftwork, this is what life is all about Dell, we help each other to help ourselves, also love the finished seat.
Thanks buddy, we are always extremely selective of who we collaborate with and it's a true honour to collaborate with Rabbit, and not only recieve a fabulous seat, but also a masterclass in trimming!
Speechless! Love the result ❤
Espetacular
To use an American term, that seat is a homerun!! ❤ 👍
Perfect Harold, a very talented lady for sure!
Lovely job on the seat Del, talented lady. 👌
What a Great looking seat ! and professionally done ! You dont realise how much skill and talent goes into the seat till you see it made in front of you ! Have a good weekend Del !
Couldn't agree more Paul, it's poetry to watch her work, but baffling at the same time how it all turns out perfectly in the end!
That is really clever mate she is very talented andnthat seat looks amazing 👏
She sure is mate, you can't teach talent aye!
What an amazing job, I'm fortunate enough to have her do my seats on my 1600 marauder. Amazing person to bring a vision to Life.
Wow, what a talented Woman.
Excellent work, and makes the bike look so much better.
That's spot on, great job
Masterful!
I'm jealous of Triumph and Suzuki owners. Your seats come off so easy. My Ural seat has a big nut underneath behind the tank and two Allen nuts up under the seat coming in from below the rear fender. Nothing really under there so I guess once you get it on, it's not coming off.
You're right Mark, easy to pop the seat on and off, like you say... have a great weekend there and ride safe!
Very nice work, She is very talented.
Brilliant Del she’s very talented 10/10❤
Nice👍👍
How nice is that!
It looks really good!!!
Thank you for sharing the process!
Stunning seat👌👌
That looks absolutely amazing! Very talented friends you have Del!
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video, she is indeed a very talented lady!
Talented lady …great job
Wonderful job for a rainy day, Del. Your new seat looks much better than the old one. The big Suzuki is getting on nicely, a clean muscle bike. Cheers, Günter/Nürnberg
Beautiful seat, and good to watch a talented lady👌❤️
Truly Phenomenal!!
Looks the part, doesn't it. Looking dapper, have a great weekend to you both
Have a great weekend both!
another great video brother !!!! love the way she works ! outstanding job !!!! bike is looking awesome !! stay safe guys cheers from new york !!!!!!
Yes a very talented lady indeed, she's does beautiful work! Have a great weekend both, stay safe, D&Px
Beautiful ❤
I've reupholstered a few car seats and some of the furniture in my home (my sewing machine will handle most fabrics and vinyl's but not leather), but I'm strictly an amateur. There's nothing like the services of a real professional if you want something other than a basic recover job.
Edit: The seat on that Bonnie was amazing!
Wasn't it just, that's her own Triumph, a fabulous job!
@@Moonfleet41 Her skill level and artistry is over the top! Just the best! Now that I know she rides that Triumph Bonneville. Awesome! Take care, Ride Safe.
Great job Del. Looks great
That was a crusty old seat cover, a very fine improvement
Madame Lucky Foot definitely has her ducks in a row! That is some very fine work!... I got a little chuckle at the beginning, when you two were removing staples. In typical manly fashion, Delboy was giving it his all, feverishly removing staples in an attempt to set the new world record for the quickest staple-removal time... Meanwhile, the lovely lady, while completely blowing our Delboy out of the water in speediness and efficiency, nonchalantly looks over as if to say "what? are we racing here? Perhaps I should really try to go quickly..." The results speak for themselves. That seat looks great! Enjoy the weekend, you two :)
You read it so well buddy, even at my fastest speed she had to slow down so I could keep up! It was a great day out and more to come in the future! Have a great weekend there yourself, D&Px
Great result, Del…what a talent! Bike is looking brilliant, my friend. Hope you both are getting out riding to your heart’s content there!
🏍👍🏍
Thanks Gary.. fitting a few rides now and again, but never enough as you can imagine !
@@Moonfleet41 😎
Great video, Penny and Del! Thanks for taking us along on the field trip and Lucky Foot has done a bang up job on your seat! Take care, dear friends. Be well and ride safe!
Thanks buddy, I'm really happy with the results, it's not just a nice looking job but seriously comfortable too.. amazing how the new cover makes it actually softer to sit on.!
Nice craftsmanship! The red single stitching is a nice subtle accent. 👌🏽 Enjoy the weekend you two!
Wanted to keep it simple and not make it too over fussy... glad you enjoyed!
What a beautiful seat. I always love watching a tradesperson at work, she made an extremely complex job look simple and you look like you made a new fluffy friend. Great video Del👍
Thanks buddy, don't she just!... skills and talent and a wicked sense of humour too.
The seat looks fab, good choice, I absolutely loved the Triumph seat.
Cheers Andy, I guess you can expect a trimmer's own motorcycle to have an awesome seat aye!
Brilliant job Del
Great job
Superb!
Love it!!!
That’s a beauty!
Thanks to her for sharing.
Thanks indeed!
Brilliant work.
.Great video Del & Penny. That is an outstanding job by lucky foot, she is an artist of the trimming craft. it looks excellent mate. Penny and you have a relaxing weekend and take care. Cheers
Sure thing mate.. serious talent and such a nice lady too.. Have a great weekend and take it easy aye.. D&Px
NICE JOB Dell
Awesome video as always. Does she accept orders from abroad?
Contact her direct Viktor, with the wonders of shipping am sure she could help!
Well you did it. Again... Not a bad thing to say, but you educated me again. I feel lucky as a subscriber. THANKS AGAIN! LOVE YA BOTH
Ah, thanks Boril, glad you enjoyed, both wishing you a great weekend!
Great video Del now I'm thinking of having my VL800 riders seat recovered. Or my BMW R1200GS seat done. Cheers Del👍🏻😎
Nice going mate, if you dropped both seats down to her she could work a joint theme on both to tie them in, drop her a line buddy, link is in thed description!
Super job.
Excellent video, thanks for this!
Great job that she has done Del !
Omg what a top episode. Well done 👍
Lovely.
Bloody good job del 👍🏻hands off to the lady
I will look her up for an old z 650 it’s got a tired old seat
In need of a bit ❤cheers mark 🇬🇧🍺👍🏻
Great news Mark, yes do, she'll do a fabulous job for you!
Great looking seat, and a great place for Penny on the backseat 😉
Very nice!
What a wonderful seat that has turned into.
So glad you showed her performing her magic. So many times we just drop off items and pick them up when they're ready, we don't usually see them doing their work. Nice to see she put you to work too, or did you volunteer? ;)
Thank you mate, it was an honour to be asked to help out and to learn some of her wonderful skills!
Jane you are famous again ❤❤ great work as normal 👌👌👌
Just saw a UA-cam advert about aluminium welding rods, you was in the advert delboy when you tested them a while ago, it was you hitting it with a hammer haha thought I’d let you know incase you didn’t know about it 👍
Thanks mate, I remember that, they did use parts of our videos (not that they asked permission, but then with You Tube people help themselves with what they want don't they!, I guess some people have the respect to ask, and some don't...), thanks for your message mate.
Great Video bloody awesome job 💯👏👏👌👍❤️
Thanks Chris, glad you enjoyed!
