Another Strat. The case that came included is a heavy plastic case. It looks like you could drop it from the 3rd floor & it would be fine. What is suspect however, are the latches. They seem like very light type of plastic & look as though you could easily break with a good smash against something.

Awesome i have put together my dream guitar i used a Lincoln Brewster Fender Stratocaster Aztec gold body with the same Fender Rosewood neck in the bridge position i put in the Seymour Duncan David Gilmour SSL-5 and in the middle position i put in the Seymour Duncan Jimi Hendrix for the 60's tone and in the neck position i put in the Seymour Duncan SSL-1 for the 50's tone and i put in a VegaTrem and gold locking tuners and gold hardware.

It does sound great. And it looks great. I really dig the colored headstock. It provides a totally different vibe, and with that daphne/sonic blue, it just pops the right way. I also find that the middle pup varies considerably in sound quality, FWIW. And I agree that solid-state cleans can be great!

It really plays nicely except for those fret ends. Just saw your Ibanez update. I wish Ibanez would have just a pinch more quality control.
@@greatvanzini yeah, it even has a QC sticker on the box and a QC hang tack on the tuners 🤔 anyway, I sent the guitar back today, and hope for a better one in return.

First time I've seen and heard a Strat with an all rosewood neck. Sounds great! There seems to be more snap and clarity compared to other Strats.

Hi there! I've played an all rosewood Telecaster before. Both body and neck were rosewood. Loved the sound and feel, but it's a guitar you have to play sitting down because because it's just too darned heavy!!! Great guitar! I think we have the same taste in guitars lol. Like the blue Deluxe Players Stratocaster. I almost bought that exact same guitar, but instead went for an Elite Stratocaster. The fret work on the Pro II was not great on the one I looked at also.

Well alright, kindred soul! Mine is just like yours, a 2018 bought in May 2019. I play it lefty upside-down, and (another coincidence to your story) by near miracle later got an American Pro actual Lefty in surf green/maple, which is strung right handed for my upside down-ness.
Anyways, QUITE the difference in tone, one to the other.
Related guitars, but each SO hard to put down. Here's to ya!

It has been a while but as it was right around the covid time, they really were trying to move stuff. I think but am not sure they let me get out the door under $1200. They had been around 1500. Thanks for the visit, leemp.
