Updated the bios of my B450 motherboard with Agesa 1.0.0.6. voltage and ram support seems to have improved.
Nice sharing experience, because some ppl seems having RAM issuse and the only way to know better about it it's some feedback from users about it.
Many thanks ! i was afraid my MSI b450i wouldnt run 3600 mhz since it says it only supports up to 3466 ( OC ) but im confident that if i update the Bios it might work.

The new BIOS introduced much better memory overclocking support on B450. They were just really quiet about it.
I just bought MSI b450 gaming plus max ATX motherboard and Gskill Trident Z 3600mhz 2x8 CL16 RAM. CPU is R5 3600. Can i use all of this together with no problems? Can you correct me? My english is not so good and I did not understand the video entirely. Is the motherboard can support 3600mhz now?
Yes it should be ok.
If you have a problem, if you are unlucky, then you can run the memory at 3200 cl14.

@@orhun5996 The BIOS support should be there to do it if you have the latest version. The CPU memory controller can do it. The only question is the quality of the trace layers on the board. Are the wires connecting the memory to the CPU thick enough so to speak. If not, you can run it slightly lower speed. 3200Mhz and above are very close on Ryzen with 3200Mhz even better sometimes over 3600Mhz depending on timings. A CL 16 3200Mhz can be better than a CL 20 3600Mhz.

I have Aorus B450 Pro Wifi which I updated the latest bios to support ryzen 3000 series. My question is will the xmp profile support my newly purchased Trident Z Neo 2 x 8gb 3600mhz cl18 ram?
i got 3600 mhz 2x8 to work i tried 4 x 8gb 3600 it worked with 2 different chips i realized but crashed in games i ended up gettin all the same version chip for the ram same speed 3600 same timing and everything still just the same version this time but now keep getting blue screen errors im not sure if it supports all 4 dimms on xmp at 3600?

If you have latest bios and a 3000 cpu, you should be fine. Seems to work for others.

I wonder if this applies to the B450 Gaming Plus MAX too, the page shows that it supports up to 4133mhz but doesn't specify if it supports 3600mhz RAM, exactly the RAM I bought

do u think agesa 1006 could run better with a ryzen 2600 4.2 + corsair lpx 3200mhz @3333? i cant go beyond 3333 (mother b450 steel legend)
I believe its a limitation of the CPU so maybe not. To be honest the increase in speed would be minimal.
I have a 3900x on a B350 gaming pro carbon and it's super stable at 4.3ghz with 3600mhz CL16 on the 1.0.0.3abba version. Kinda scared to try the 1.0.0.6 update.
I've found the latest bios better all round.

@@caxx.g I set the speed to 3600Mhz and it worked fine ever since. Rated speed for my motherboard is actually 3200 for the Ram but it stopped crashing when I updated my BIOS.

I can’t get my ram above 2133mhz but it’s 3600. I can’t seem to save new ram settings in bios. But this might help. Will see if I can update. I am running a ryzen 5 2600 though. Even if I get it to 3200 would be great

I have a b450i which does not state 3600 but it happily supports it after an ageesa update that appeared a long while ago.

With a zen 2 CPU it should be fine with updated bios.
I've have no issues but I've only used about 5 different motherboards.

With latest bios, yes.
You should use 2x 8gb! If not, performance will take a hit due to not utilising dual channel.
Crucial do 3600mhz CL16 for around £69 for 16gb. CL16 will be faster than CL18.
