Crying over spilled milk it's got a whole different meaning to it there sweetie are you looking at the man's demeanor and are you looking into his eyes and soul it is way more than that so before you put a stupid comment on there make sure you know what you're talkin about
Lost my wife in 2014 to cancer she was only 35. I wish I could put into words how you’re voice has helped me to let go and let tears flow. Sherry and I had 4 daughters together and we all love you’re talents. Thank you for pouring yourself into music that truly helps people. It really does. I’m a man who feels week when I cry but when I hear so many of your songs it helps me let go. Thank you from a man and his broken heart.
That's not weakness. That shows that youre strong enough to love and feel. You're blessed that you experienced the height of Human existence, you loved and were loved. And you get to watch the products of you love grow up. With your guidance, they stand a much better chance of reaching that peak, as you did. If you hold on to any regret, let it be that you didn't have enough time together on Earth. And know, that when it comes to love, there _can never_ be enough time. It's the only downside. Go give those kids a big hug and a kiss from their mom and dad.
The sadness of Puddles' songs have helped me let go on more than one occasion. When my father passed and the tears wouldn't come, Puddles wandered through my lonely existence and bared them. When my fiance cheated and left, Puddles once more found a way to my weary heart and let it pour. This beautiful frown clown has set my emotions free.
The original songs that puddles sings I normally wouldn't listen to. I'm religiously a metalhead. But puddles just knows how to absolutely captivate you. I've never heard a cover artist just portray the emotions of a song a hundred times more then the original artist.
The whole world loves you, Mr. Puddles. You do something a lot of us can't. You face things in a way most of us hide from, and you do it to the whole planet. That's not just art, or talent or an act.. that's.. legit pure soul.
I hope the man who plays Puddles knows how much he’s loved by what he does. His singing is beautiful, really makes you feel the music. It’s like he reaches into your heart and touches it. Absolutely stunning performance. ❤ Puddles reminds me everyday it’s a human thing and it’s okay to be sad. It’s alright to feel that way and sometimes a good cry can let everything out. Thank you Puddles. ❤
Leave it to you to cry over spilt milk - and do it beautifully, pouring your heart out with teardrops falling in time, creating the most artistic, mellifluous, soul-satisfying torrent of emotion and comic relief the music world has ever seen. They don't call you Puddles for nothing. BRAVO! 🌹 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Please don’t ever stop making music. Your character, your voice, your aesthetic; it’s all so perfect. You are not only extremely authentic and talented, but you make me feel so hopeful and happy. Ironic considering your character, but it’s true. I wish I could explain how I feel better, but just know I really appreciate what you do.
Hey, Puddles! A few years ago, I was going through a really rough period of time. I saw the My Chemical Romance "Helena" cover you did, which is my favorite song. I was so moved by it that I, completely spontaneously, drove several hours to see you perform in Cleveland, Ohio. I took a photo with you and it was an excellent experience. Thanks for making such beautiful music, and for embodying such a lovely character!
Namastae, and Good Morning Dear, Sweet, Gentle Messenger of Love and Talent, I can’t thank you enough for the gentle, consistent love and grace that comes through all your songs, and all your videos. My Wife and I are neurodivergent, but I especially experience some wild hearing issues that intertwine with comprehension challenges to boot. As I have recently began to finally work on healing myself, your voice is a balm that enables me to feel safe, like when my Bestie and beautiful Wife wraps her warm arms around me. And, (such as now, at 8 in the morning) the tears that I have suppressed for almost 5 decades always come easily after listening to you, Dear Puddles. Thank you, Dear Light, for the love and talent you gift the world with. May you and yours have a long, abundant, grounded, peaceful life. Much love. 😊❤
I first heard of puddles when he arrived in Austin and terrified a local morning radio hostess. I haven't stopped hearing him since, and I'm glad to see him covering Billie.
Saw Pudfles in Indianapolis 10/28/2022. Great show. He sang this song. My daughter had to tell me the title. Listening to the lyrics took me back to 1981 when I split from the only true love of my life. No one has measured up since and my life has been one of a long regret. Maybe "to be continued."
I just want to say I've never heard of you and today I went to your concert in Portland Oregon, june 19 .after I seen your concert i just had to say your an amazing person . Your outfit and personality will help me when I'm down . I love your songs 🎵❤️
such a serious song... but that glass of milk - like tragicomic life, it was the perfect comic touch - and those lyrics that cut like a knife - and the tears in the spilled milk. the tears, the spash, falling in rhythm with the song. all of it... This. is. Art. this may be one of my favorite things you have done. but they're all my favorite and i'm a new fan.
I love Puddles’ voice and this is a GREAT cover, but personally I found the whole crying over spilt milk schtick hilarious. Brilliant comedic touch, but maybe I’m the only one who thought it was really funny? 🤣🥛
Well when I was in my teens, I did feel that sense of profound emptiness when I had to say goodbye to friends after parties and such. Going home to the quiet house, recycling over the moments shared in ones mind but then the sense of giddiness fades. And if I had been cycling through depression at the time, I would then slip right back into my general malaise. This song gives me that vibe.
She writes many of her own songs and they work together on them all. He was still a very young person. I saw an interview of him about it and it makes sense. This version makes it seem very deep. Seeing someone older than them almost gives it a new meaning. I almost like this version better.
They didn't. Finnease is credited as the writer but he uses about half a dozen known industry ghost writers. All the popular pop songs you hear are written by like the same 5-10 people over the past like 40 years. Her input on "Her" music is very minimal. The produces and the mixers and engineers do all the work before she even enters the studio.
@@cgtaurus I always thought that the idea of the "party being over" was more about seeing chapters of your life end, friends and fun memories going away, the fun ending and you having to face life without them.
Y'all say how wonderful he is to each other why don't you say it to him? I love you puddles you have inspired and made me believe I can sing through those tears
Very beautiful! I love how the teardrops are synchronized with the piano notes! I'm quite captivated with Troy Bieser's directing style with your videos 🙂
Go Puddles! Love yah, man (like a brother) Keep up the GREAT work! and AWESOME cameo on The Conners last night 5/18/22 (ABC, 9pm. est) I seen you there and was like: WOW! awesome!!!!! What was it like meeting all of the cast??? Take care and God Bless!
These times are crazy, hard times nothing seems like it’s going right , sickness , war and depression are affecting so many people and it may seem dark but don’t give in to the darkness every day take a break do something you love , hold close those you love, everything is crazy right now and it might not get better soon but stay strong and remember this time hardship will melt away with time just as sure as snow.
To be honest, I find P's video A LOT more pleasant and easier to watch than the Eilish version, which I find very disturbing. Unlike Puddles, Eilish swallows and cries out her darkness. Milk was my first thought when I saw the Eilish video. It's hard not to think "milk" with the tumbler and overexposure to all the "Got Milk?" ads and commercials. My second thought was that Eilish's video is too distracting from and does not serve the song. I felt like I was watching her drink ink. Although the song is beautiful, Eilish's video is a mess that looks like a mess. So, once again (and as much as he might dislike the comparing), Puddles has performed it far better. If a singer is going to cry over any beverage, unless it's beer or wine, milk is the obvious, right choice - because of the age-old expression and thanks to the California Milk Processor Board.
Simply beautiful! Wish I could throw my arms around your neck to comfort those tears and thank you for such beauty! Love the video! You blow my mind with each and every one of them! ♥️
Crying over spilt milk has never been so visually captivating.
Wow, well said🙏
Your comment is on point. Well said.
Visually?
You are listening to this wrong.

Puddles is a musical genius.
Yes.

Incredible. It is like hearing the lyrics for the very first time and really understanding them. ❤️
I wholeheartedly agree.

That was astoundingly good but so sad. I hope there were plenty of people there to give you a Puddles cuddle after you finished filming. 👏👏👏😭.

i can't love this enough, so touching...
the best or 2 nd best song from his st louis show never herad but after 1 st time it awsome
I'm unsure why I only recently discovered this guy. But I'm officially in love with this voice
Literally crying **over** the spilled milk. Excellent.
I like Billie's other songs but this one is far and away my favorite of hers. I've heard a few male covers and this one is very good.
So painful and deep regret…😢Puddles sings for us…
I will never repeat the same mistake😢😢
I first heard of puddles when he arrived in Austin and terrified a local morning radio hostess. I haven't stopped hearing him since, and I'm glad to see him covering Billie.
If you are in the Austin area, he's playing there with Piff the Magic Dragon in early November. Should be a fun show!
The tear being so heavy it knocks the glass over.
Dude. You are so fucking talented. I hope you never stop grinding. You could break out anytime...and probably when you least expect it.
Lost one of my grandchildren last week , he was only 24. This song is helping me.....

Beautifully heartbreaking and haunting
WOW! That was an emotional trip I didn't expect to take.
This song is soo beautiful.
I have a whole new appreciation of this song. How did such a young person write this?
Well when I was in my teens, I did feel that sense of profound emptiness when I had to say goodbye to friends after parties and such. All That spilled milk, all the tears, the bare and raw heart made alive in the music. Bravo.

Puddles takes crying over spilt milk to a whole new level. Beautiful and emotional.
This might be the best show of how crying over spilt milk works. And even with hes heavenly voice thanks puddle ^w^

I think it's extraordinarily cool. It is, very sad, too. But one thing does not remove the other.
