❤ my son is 6 now. I used to always sing this song to him when we were driving in the car when he was a toddler. I'd change up the words a little but this video reminded me of that. Love it!

Good grief, this is like striking gold! If this is your camera work Chris, it is excellent. Tommy played at our base when I was stationed overseas ('79 to '82) for an hour and a half, every minute magical. Most of my buddies were die-hard punk rockers (the rage at the time) but after a while Tommy had them in the palm of his hand, singing along and dancing, and it was evident Tommy was having a good time, also. This video is awesome-- he looks great, like Tony Curtis' slightly older brother. Seven min. of "Sweet Pea," and I love it when these legends talk, telling stories, joking around with the band and the audience. So sad his wife Josette passed on 8 months ago, hope he's getting by okay. Thanks Chris / 60s70sVintageRock, this channel (and Ringo, Ruby & Noodles-- my 2 dogs and cat) are the reasons I get up in the mornings.

(Thank you for your service, if I didn't mention it before... can't remember if you posted about it on another vid... i get a LOT of vets posting!) He is definitely audience-friendly and seems like a sweet and humble guy. I remember hearing about his retirement to take care of his ailing wife, but hadn't heard that she'd passed... so sad. What nonsense!! 1) The girl in the Sweet Pea video was a random teenager picked the from the audience by the producers. No relation to Roe and never married to him. 2) His wife (since 1981) was Josette Banzet, an actress who died from Alzheimer's in 2020 at the age of 82. Obviously she was *older* 🙄.

The little girl wasn't a relative... she went to the taping of 'Where The Action Is' with her older sister. A few years ago she told the story here on YT.... 'itsmewithroe' has since deleted her acct. because she was being hassled so much. Thanks for watching! The little girl from the 'Where The Action Is' video used to have an acct. on YT several years ago. Her username was 'Itsmewithroe' and she would answer questions and comments on that old video.
