hi, i usually would feed superworms, sometimes frogs. why? because its easier for the arowana to eat, doesnt require the arowana to chase, feeding ghost shrimps,feeder fish requires the big fella to chase, which is really difficult for him. i would feed him once every 2-4 days anytime. , as the fish has already matured.

The scale level will be different. Arowana have 6 level. Cross back can reach 6 level, Which means there’s no black area on the top. High back can reach 4th to 5th level , High back will have black on top.
I would recommend buying a cross back if you have budget, back then I didn’t have. My highback @ 5 inch cost $228 While back then.a cross back cost $398 for same size

I only feed my Arowana once a week.
Didn’t have any drop eye.
Mostly drop eye are genetic.
Nice. I feed the albino aro white fish, prawns, mussels and pellets. Very happy he accepts whatever hits the water.

veno if he eats frozen prawn. You can hide half a pellet or one pellet in the prawn. Slowly he will accept the taste of the pellet.
