Pikmin 2: Unused Onion Boot cutscenes (Fully functional) + Purple and White Onions

- This is a hack where not only do I have the Purple and White onion mod, but they all have the unused Onion Boot Cutscenes. However, unlike the currently documented clips online, these are fully functional and have colored text depending on the type of Pikmin. Plus it has the boot cutscene for Purple and White onions. All the credit goes to PikHacker for helping me make this possible for my upcoming hack. Go subscribe to him, his hacks are insane:

Imagine if the purple and white onions were more unique than the main colours, like the purple onion being able being heavier when it lifts itself out of the ground and shakes the ground when it lands, or the white onion being more smaller and quicker, shooting out seeds faster than your average onion
Yeah that would be pretty neat. It would be difficult though.

Wow. I can see why they ended up just having purple and white Pikmin stay in your ship as this would’ve taken up a lot of space on the map.
Plus it would be extra broken since it would be way easier to make purples LOL

love the ikana valley theme from majora's mask. fits really well with the area tbh

Since purple pikmin and white pikmin aren't known to have an onion, I wonder where they sleep when Olimar is not visiting PNF-404.
I know when olimar visits they sleep in the ship. Probably underground if I were to guess since you make them underground

I feel like if purples and whites were officially given their own onions, they could have one nerf that made them a bit harder to get, and more balanced as well...maybe:
purple and white onions can only produce pikmin of their respective color with pellets. Using creatures will not work, on top of that- purple & white pellet posies are incredibly rare:only a couple being in one spot on every map.
Yeah I agree. It would make them more accessible while making them more balanced.

Thanks! I'm so glad it's working and I can't thank PikHacker enough for it. I have the files in the hocotate hacker discord if you want to download it. You'll need devitpro, run the install c-kit.bat and then in the folder with in that, just click run.bat.

Don't worry. With the progress the community has made, it will happen at some point. Heck in Yellow edition, you can store them in the ship. Though they're probably replacing an existing pikmin slot.

When it comes to Pikmin Canon, it does. But only in Pikmin 4.Kind of makes me wonder why they didn't have purple and white onions in the first place. I mean it would definitely eliminate most of the challenge the game has, but hey, it's still awesome.
