I subbed to your channel, you do good work and you remind me a lot of myself when I was younger. Keep it up! I would prob add some diagonal braces on the ramp jack arms and maybe add some more metal on them so it’s easier to drive up and the tires don’t fall in every hole. I like the property at your house nice and clean looking.
Looks great great, but please put that break away back on that trailer. It’s super important if that trailer comes off the ball it will keep going until it hits something or someone on the road.
That’s a good question. The main reason is because it’s hard to put the new tires on without scratching the new paint when you use the tire changer I have. Thank ya for the comment.
That was one thing I would redo if I was going to do this project again. I would make the ramps removable. It also helps with loading on materials with a forklift from the back if the ramps are removable.
If the cutting disc on that angle grinder decides to come apart, you're gonna wish to hell you knew what face shields were. You DON"T wanna see what a piece of cutting disc can do to skin and bone!!
That’s exactly what happened to me. Now am scarred for life a couple of centimeters loosing my eye. I was wearing only safety glasses. Now I wear a face shield and long sleeve when grinding.
I did that because when you go to put the new tires back on the rim, they usually get scratched in the process with the kind of tire changer I’m using.
When you showed the tire changer I thought i might get one. Then I saw you climb on it which is exactly what I'm like and envisioned myself trapping my ballsack in the bead 😂💀
I bought one and the rod it came with immediately bent and I took it back. You can see in the video that his bent too and he's using his own pry bar with it.
When you load a Heavy vehicle , Put your shift selector in NEUTRAL , and SET your parking brake !!! IF you don't you're Pushing against the parking Pawl in the trany and it wasn't made for that kind of force !!!
I would have if I had a professional tire machine. I always scratch the wheels up really bad when I change the tires with my store bought tire machine.
@@jetproject7955 I think on some programs there is the ability to level out the sound as well, so you talking is the same level as say grinding on metal.
Turned out great young lad. You seem like a very capable person. Your Dad must be proud.
Thank you. That means a lot.
Dude put the break a way system back on this is suicide

Thank you for the comment. I’ll take note on those ramps for the next one I might work on.
Nice job, looks good, but be careful those pretty decks get slippery fast. Sometimes a little rust isn't so bad.
I know it. That surface rust acts like sandpaper sometimes. Thank you for the comment.
You did an awesome job!! 💪👍👏👊
Thank you !
I bought a 24ft trailer and need to fix it up. I did put a winch and fixed a few cracks. Cool trailer
Thank you!
Looks great great, but please put that break away back on that trailer. It’s super important if that trailer comes off the ball it will keep going until it hits something or someone on the road.
Why didn’t you paint the wheels while the tires were off?
Whooops!! I saw some black paint get on those wheels!!! lol
Nice job.
Thank you Keith
use a 3/8" hose with that impact as you'll get more power out of it.
Somebody else recommended the same thing. I’ve already found another one, just gotta find a time to use it now. Thanks for the comment.
why didnt you paint the wheels when you had the tires off of them?
That’s a good question. The main reason is because it’s hard to put the new tires on without scratching the new paint when you use the tire changer I have. Thank ya for the comment.
Nice and clean job!
Thank you Marcello
Why didnt you pain the rims when you had the tire off?
That’s a good question. The main reason is because it’s hard to not scratch the wheels when you are putting the new tires back on the rim.
Looks great! What do you do with the ramps when the vehicle hangs off the back and won't allow them to fold up?
That was one thing I would redo if I was going to do this project again. I would make the ramps removable. It also helps with loading on materials with a forklift from the back if the ramps are removable.
If the cutting disc on that angle grinder decides to come apart, you're gonna wish to hell you knew what face shields were. You DON"T wanna see what a piece of cutting disc can do to skin and bone!!
I know it. I’ll have to get me one soon. At least I wear safety glasses most of the time.
That’s exactly what happened to me. Now am scarred for life a couple of centimeters loosing my eye. I was wearing only safety glasses. Now I wear a face shield and long sleeve when grinding.
Great job
Why didn’t you paint the rims before mounting the tires ( doesn’t make any sense)
I did that because when you go to put the new tires back on the rim, they usually get scratched in the process with the kind of tire changer I’m using.
Good video
Thank you
What kind of paint did you use to roll on trailer
It’s farm implement paint from Tractor Supply. Thank ya for the comment
Put a larger diameter air hose to the air gun, the current hose restricts airflow and reduces torque on the gun.
I found another larger hose last week. Just waiting to find another project to test it out on. Thank ya for the comment.
@@jetproject7955 Good luck, the video was good.
Your tire changer looks like mine. Bent bar and all. I need to get a new bar mine's about folded in half.
I heard that. But for the money those things are hard to beat.
What is weight of the jack?
It’s an 8,000 lb. jack
When you showed the tire changer I thought i might get one. Then I saw you climb on it which is exactly what I'm like and envisioned myself trapping my ballsack in the bead 😂💀
Sometimes you have to risk it all to get your tires changed…
I bought one and the rod it came with immediately bent and I took it back. You can see in the video that his bent too and he's using his own pry bar with it.
Nice score !
Thank ya
The spaces between the 'rungs' on your ramps are to wide ! Might want to weld some xtra ones in between !!!
Looks good, but the hammer?
What about the hammer?
Very nice, what paint did you use that covered the rust?
@@kenclinton4881 I used farm implement paint from Tractor Supply.
Would have been a good time to check brake linings… and grease wheel bearings.
You are right. I’ll try to remember that next time.

The jack and ramps are looking good.
@@livetoridecando I appreciate it. Thanks for the comment Mr. Tom
Looks good, you gotta get that audio right though.
I know. I need to get a microphone.

So using a f150 with other f150? Yikes ok
