Shukran jazeelan This is great. I learned a bit of ARabic many years ago when I was working in Egypt and I have always wanted to continue and learn properly. I learned a great deal of phrases but could never pronounce the words properly, the pronounciation is so hard due to the deep throat gutteral sounds. I love the language so will continue learning as much as possible.

Excellent lesson, يا محمد! With UA-cam quality content such as this that one can watch and re-watch until it marinates in the brain......who needs an outdated Teach Yourself textbook or Pimsleur course or any grammar book? Nothing against Pimsleur, mind you, but I feel that this sort of language instruction for self-learners as well as the app called Mango Languages are infinitely better.
I say this as someone who loves books, but to those that would differ with me, please hear me out: Language is, naturally, an AUREAL/ORAL phenomenon. That means that listening and repeating and speaking over and over again and letting it sink into your memory the more exposed you are to it should come first before learning to read it or practicing the grammar. The latter should be done after you've acquired some conversational or basic fluency.
Extensive reading, once one has acquired a foothold into the listening and speaking part, is also an excellent way to acquire VOCABULARY. Both listening and reading repeatedly are excellent ways to acquire grammar NATURALLY, especially if done with comprehensible input and contextual scenarios.
In short: I will be watching this video and many others like it quite often! شكرا وسلام!
