My Goodness!! I am AMAZED at the Sound of that Crazy Rain!!! I live in Southern California and I have NEVER heard Rain fall that hard! I think California would rip apart and fall into the sea if it rained that hard here. 😳😳😳
Wow! That's amazing! It's beautiful ... I thought NO to the orange, as I don't like bright oranges, but wow! I have changed my mind watching your video.
I found this video while searching youtube for slow stitching. I find I have a hard time choosing the fabrics, stitching without a purpose is so unnatural to me. Love watching your process, thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you, yes, I have been working a little further on this dea in part 2 of this video. I am totally loving the idea of going beyond the borders and linking all the squares into a whole piece of cloth 😍
Absolutely love it!! I was kinda hesitant in the beginning, but you totally blew it out of the water... I can always count on you to make it beautiful!! Stay safe.
Great ideas. I'm abit lost, I need texture in my slow stitching pieces. I like how you've cut up squares and chosen scraps that go with. I worry about leaving gaps in the fabrics.
Thanks Pamela, although I have already started putting some more embroidery in! 😀I think it was good, but it is turning out even better as ai add more embroidery .
i always love your style and love what you make every time. when i was stitching i was wondering on the size of the colour thread that you used in this video. was it 6 stand embroidery thread or ?
Hi Tania. I used a ball of crotchet cotton I found in an op-shop. Looked like it said 12 ply, but a thin pearl cotton or crotchet cotton, so long as it threads easily and will go through. But that is just what I used. You can of course use a couple of strands of your stranded cotton.

Wonderful ideas. Love how you extended the motif beyond the scrap into the plain background. Why didn’t I think of that myself?

Thanks Debbie, yes that beginning fabric could have been truly awful, sometimes you just have to work a little harder to bring the beauty out! ❤😂
