Collectors will become the most insufferable and classist mfs you ever met when it comes to criticize import figures. This does not justify the price point, Mezco GG comes with way more accessories for example, and it is still above $100, and yeah it is expected that the SHF has better sculpt and articulation but that's about it and it is just the bare minimum to expect from an import company. The ML even comes with a stand to put the glider on. The display options are more if u count the helmet and smilling face. The SHF is a good figure but it could offer way more and be way better than what it is.
I preordered this, had it in hand and still decided to sell it. The lack of a grinning or crazy face did it for me, he just looks so bland and boring without a facial expression, which is what Dafoe's Goblin is most iconic for. Everything else is just perfect and eons away from what Hasbro will deliver, but crazy how a seemingly tiny detail can make all the difference.
Exactly man. Thats the problem people arent understanding. They did great with so many aspects of the figure like the body itself. but they messed up in aspects that are very significant. Like headsculpts. Goblin isnt a character like batman where a straight face will look great in many poses. He needs to have expression.

He's decent from an engineering standpoint (though SHF needs to learn how to make hips that aren't overengineered nightmares), but damn did they fumble the bag with the essentials. No smiling head? No flight stand? No mask? And hell, the faces kind of look like garbage? All for an incredibly overinflated price? I'm not going to say that Legends is better, since I'm sure that release will have a ton of issues just like all Hasbro products. But I will say that SHF can and should do better.
Animated Heroes only argument was “does the marvel legends have interchangeable hands or a spectacular paint job” lol it doesn’t matter if it looks like a masterpiece if it doesn’t have the essentials,that’s like saying a Lamborghini without a engine or wheels is still good because it comes with a interchangeable steering wheel
Marvel Legends was better at a third of the price with a better head sculpt with no mustache and a wicked smile and all the necessary accessories, including the GG mask! The articulation and sculpting and paint job might be superior, but they fumbled where it matters most while asking for a ridiculous amount.
Does it come with interchangeable hands? do the aesthetics of the figure look nearly as good as this one? I think not. I would pay for this 100 times over without thinking twice about it.
@@AnimatedHeroes SHF GG has two heads and not one of them comes with the wicked smile Green Goblin and William Dafoe are known for, along with that the heads look pretty bad as representations of WD, and that immediately takes this figure down a notch for me. I’m glad you’re happy, but I’m dissatisfied with this release, especially when I can get another version way cheaper with everything I’d want outta a figure of this version of the character, including removable goggles, smiling face, and a helmet. It may not have removable hands, but it has the essentials for the character, like the bomb, mask, and glider. And ofc SHF will look better, that’s what I expect out of an import figure compared to ML, which is why I’m very disappointed with the heads and what they’re asking for this when they didn’t get the characters personality and likeness right.

Idk I think the figure is great but that head sculpt with the mustache just isn’t good cause he didn’t have a mustache in the movie & if people say he does then your blind he doesn’t have a mustache you can clearly see he don’t when Tom Hollands Spider-Man injects the green goblin with whatever it was to turn him back to normal
