My grandmother use to live up the road from there and with as many times as we went by those eateries I can't remember it ever being anything but Jack in the Box. My grandmother died in 1992. So you might have to go back before then to find your answer. Glad they're repurposing the Bueno. Hope it does well.
Nothing like going to McDonald's as a kid and play on the old outdoor playground with the concrete floor and the metal slide reflecting the 105 degree heat...... fun times lol.
Fans and lights on in abandoned businesses, no wonder Texas is starting to have rolling black outs. The taco bueno in Edmond Oklahoma wasn't that great
Taco Bueno has never been a favorite. Where I live Burger King restaurants have been closing big time. Also Steak and Shake restaurants are all closed.
Hey wallie in Lewisville texas we have an abandoned taco beuno and I Hop off of main and I-35 E and more abandoned places in that area like a gym if you are
Wallie the newest Taco Bell in Allentown, Pa. on Hamilton Blvd. has a great unique style building, and my town of Emmaus , PA. has a new Burger King, and it has awesome styling, they tore the old Golden Corral down , and put this new Burger King up in its place, and across the busy road is the McDonald's, of which has been in our town probably over thirty years! The Wendys , and Pizza Hut on that same road in Emmaus sadly are closed! I loved the salad bar at both these places in the 1990s! Thanks for your time, and awesome videos!! By the way , have you ever eaten at Shady Maple Smorgasbord in Lancaster , PA. area? It is a great Mennonite eating place, and prices are not bad either!! Thanks, James L.
where i live in washington state we have a jack in the box that was a burger king. the only reason it and a few others closed up was cause the manager/owner lost franchising rights. the only building still left out of 4 is 1. one got demolished and a bank put in its place, another got a different restaurant and look and idk what happened to one of them but the one in my city is a jack in the box and has been for many years.
Great video! I went on Google Maps and looked the Jack in the Box up but from what I could see, it was a Jack in the Box all along. But maybe it was a Pizza Hut or a McDonald's at one point but I don't know. I've never been to Texas before. I live up in New Jersey.
I grew up in this area of Fort Worth(1990s to roughly 2010's), and as far as I could remember that location was always a Jack in the Box. The shopping it is in/near is one adjacent to the Ridgmar Mall. If the mall itself was struggling, you can imagine how that shopping center struggled. There was a Movie Tavren there, but that closed down. There was a Half Price Books in that shopping center, but it moved down the road to the flashier newer development towards the gate of the air station(the empty field behind the farmers market). Not entirely sure how I feel about that. One hand youre where the traffic is, but youre leaving a vacant store front in another area thatll decay.
yes we saw the sign through, thats not good to see fans going full throttle, like that for long periods of time those blades could fly off and cause havidc
Hey Wallie, We Have an Abandoned Long John Silver's Here in Richmond Kentucky Between a Shell Gas Station and a PNC Bank, You Should Check it Out, It's a Small LJS, But I Would Love to See a Video Of it, And Also It's on The Eastern Bypass

Hi Wallie and Kayla, another great video thanks for sharing 😊👍
Your correct the newer buildings are boring anymore
Me and a friend ate there last in the late 2000s it was cheap and affordable for us at the time
Your welcome 😊
A great video, Wallie and Kayla! Have a Texaslicious Day!
That Jack in the box always been Jack in the box
I like Bueno bean burritos
To be honest I'm surprised the ridgmar mall is still open
Pizza Hut buildings looks like shoe boxes too. I like the old Pizza Hut buildings.

A return to Texas means a return of the abandoned Buenos

Where at?
Unless someone bought it, there’s an abandoned one on Cooper street in Arlington not too far from the Texas road house in Grand Prairie.

Tacobell
When did this place close?
Wallie, how can I get an address to you of an interesting abandon building that’s local near north park? I don’t want to post the address here.

Taco no bueno
I too wish Kayla would appear on camera. That's like Siskel without his Ebert. But a great video guys. Thanks
Another thing they have in common is their inability to correctly spell "through", on their drive through sections.
"Drive Thru" that's all I see in any fast-food restaurant up here in the Northeast.

The same here in Australia. Well, except for one or two places. It's as if they paid for their signs by the letter.
