@@Mike-sr6gd talking about the premium on silver I understand in the USA the 100 oz bar has low premium. But in Australia 1kg bar it’s the 1 kg bar that has the low premium
Good show, Stateside. My main silver bar size for staking is also 10oz, but I have 2 kilo size silver bars from the Germania Mint and that's the biggest size silver I'm willing to buy, but I got those at bargain prices. The sellers both had a Germania Mint Kilo silver bar and they both wanted to get rid of them so I negotiated with them and paid well below the going price for the time. So, both bars were basically flukes and I don't intent to buy another kilo size bar unless another such fluke comes up... Which I honestly don't see happening soon. As for why the previous owners of the Kilo bars I bought were willing to accept a below going price... I suspect one seller had buyer's remorse and the other may have run into some kind of trouble and needed the money. Honesty, anyone's guess is as good as mine and I just happen to be a buyer in the right place and at the right time.
It depends on your end goals. If you think you may need to liquidate in a year or few then don’t buy 100oz bars. But if you are holding long term until the spot price is $200/oz then there is nothing better to own. At that point silver will be so valuable that it will also be hyper liquid.
As awesome as they are I have yet to purchase a 100 Oz bar. I prefer the kilos the 10 oz bars and sovereign bullion. Thanks as always for the great video Mr Stateside🦬🍁🦅🦘
Stopped stacking since last comment or so, prices were too high, but now that they’re back to about 38$ CAD I’m more then happy adding to the stack! Great video💪
I really enjoyed this video. I was just thinking about stuff like this, you know buying large quantities of silver and gold and maybe some palladium and some platinum. You made it seem not only possible but also doable . I found this to be more entertaining with some facts thrown in.
I think I may have just milk spotted by looking at that massive 100 oz bar…. All jokes aside I love your new addition to your stack. Keep stacking bro!
I love the idea of having a 100oz bar but right now my budget doesn’t allow that. Like you have admit in other videos, saving cash has been a challenge for me as well. Lately I have been purchasing about 15-18 oz of silver at a time. I have gotten 10oz bars and even them I find myself wondering if I would have preferred 10 1oz rounds…. But once I am better at saving I may get to a point where I get to choose between an ounce of silver or 100oz of silver.
Tough question. I guess it depends on one's goals, budget, and size of current stack. If one is comfortable with their stack size, has the disposable funds, BELIEVES in the future of silver value, and has a secure environment??? Absolutely! There was a time when many stackers thought that one could convert large quantities of silver into other tangible assets when the silver manipulation came to an end. My imagination could have a lot of fun imagining taking 100 oz bars of silver to some kind of closing table someday. haha
@@silvercobra0923"Long ago" hahahaha. Like that matters 😂 gotta stop living in the past brother. That's like saying you'd rather have a 100x 1oz gold maple leafs as opposed to a 10 ounce bar. The two are not comparable because you'd have to have bought the maples LOOOOOONNNNG ago to get them for the same price.....
I think the barrier to exit is too high. I either drive to a big city or mail it. For awhile there were very few people willing to buy large bars and they were paying well back of spot.
I imagine I would have to start pouring my own bars before I start purchasing something like a hundred ounce bar. I think I would have to s t art pouring off of a smaller amount until I got good at it first.

I don’t have any 100-ouncers. I do have a bunch of 1-kilo bars though. I prefer the size of those, even though they are a tad more expensive. Everyone loves the larger size coins like the big-boy Libertads and Britannia’s, and I’ll probably get a bunch more of those in the future.
They're great for stacking weight in Silver as for buying a bunch I woudln't I have tons of oz of Silver, but not one 100oz Bar the biggest I own would be a Kilo bar
Biggest I own is a 10oz. Even tho I want a 100oz, I have been able to get myself to do it yet as it’s just a huge item and divisibility is impossible lol
Depends. If silver shoots up high amounts like it has been you’ll get below spot, silver floats around a dollar amount up and down for a week you’ll get spot or maybe a little more
Unless you want to gamble on another silver theory. Buy silver for the higher gold to silver ratio and trade it when it closes the distance. If one thinks that will happen.
I think 100 oz bar is a BAD idea. They are hard to move, hard to test, a pain to mail. If you got $3k an ounce of gold and some 5, 10oz silver bars MUCH better idea. In Australia 1 kg goes for a few cents per ounce over the 100oz bar and it’s about 1/3 the size so if in Australia I recommend the 1 kg or 32oz bar
Interesting
How is that possible. 32 ounce bar more valuable than a 100 ounce bar🤔
