I'm ethnic Chinese and I don't find Malay weddings noisy at all. Ironically the Yum Sengs at the Chinese weddings are noise pollution if you ask me.
Love has no color, no religion, no age and no gender preference. If people you can't see that then let these people be just people AROUND you and not IN your life. Period.
Congratulations you two! Wishing you both many many years of happiness together! ♥️♥️
Chinese wedding no singing no live band. Usually instrumental music background

@@blackrose2429 You're most welcome. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. There's a reason why two people meet in this ocean of madness so enjoy the journey together and let no one else tell you both otherwise. My sincerest best wishes always. Someday you will look back and realize how far you both have gone ahead without looking back at negativity to slow you down. 💪🏻💪🏻
That was just excuse
Weddings are all loud and boisterous...of coz now pandemic times could be different.
I'm a Russian married in Singaporean Malay mix Abab family.Since 1999 I have been living in Singapore, we have 3 beautiful kids.
If a wedding is extremely quiet...then for sure its not a wedding...then most likely its a funeral.
not abt noise, its tactful way to tell her they dont like malay....
Ahah, its true.
Funeral Wedding.😙
Really bro? My Chinese neighbor funeral always got tong tong chiang till midnight for 7 days straight... Not only be heard by surrounding houses but merely all the neighborhood... Only stop for 5 minutes during azan from the nearest mosque... But we nvr mocking them n irritated... Respect each other is the key...
@@rozidamekda1976 who says so ? u didnt see enough, some funeral got dancing n singing....,
bhahahah nice one
other than their wedding story here, their stall is always packed with customers. Sometimes they sold out and close early.Their food is really excellent.Kudos to this beautiful couple
May i know the address of their stall pls?
I love Malay weddings.... the rendang, gado gado etc... 😋
Kan... Its delicious
And the best part, you can gate crash a malay wedding and still be invited to eat.
Hahahha.
Oh not forgetting...., no amount is too big or too small.
So,,next time u go again..mingle more w them..not just food..don’t stop there..
They are very much in love… can tell from their eyes and how they held hands…. Awww super sweet!
"Regardless of Race, Language or Religion".. its part of our Singaporean Pledge.. dont we EVER forget that. #OneSingapore
something is wrong actually
Many have forgotten.
They worship money and Ang Mo.
I followed this beautiful union couple and how much they step in last year in helping by delivering food to the frontliner at hospital because some of us are mentally bias towards this heroes. They step in and past all that. May Allah bless u guys! Be strong and kudos to u guys!!!
I just hope the "silence racism" in Singapore will stop. All of us are just humans. There's nothing wrong being malay, Chinese, Indian, eurasians, etc.
This is what I have always remarked to everyone even to The Royal Singapore-stop saying stuff like "Malay" "Chinese" "Indian"
sad to say stigma, racism and race superiority will never dissapear
@@sfoo4519 i agree with u. But we must also be upfront where the racism comes from, specifically which community is spewing .
People are not dumb. They're observant and they experience it.
Whenever a a racist video/experience is shared, its always pointing to 1 particular community, 90% of the time.
"You cant clean the stain if you dont point out the spot (of the stain)"
But we get that its not ALL of them in that community that are racist. thr are a good amt in that grp that condemns racism too.
@@trafficmonsoonacademy562 agreed.
I do not want to point out that source of the racism from that particular community, because as usual, they will defend themselves(i experienced before)
Singapore these daya is more racist and race superior than ever. by right, one should demonstrate their greatness on how well they treat others around them, and not on frenzied displays of wealth and rank. Belittling others based on their race appears to be discouraged in polite society, but behind doors, it continues.
its neighbour in malaysia meanwhile think Singapore iis very advanced..
Sorry to say in MRT everyday I'm on live sosial media (Most Of My Friend Over Other Country See For Themself) showing how those Yellow looking at minorities and even worse can even stand don't wanna sit beside... So Sorry RACISM Will Never Go Away...

A better love story than Twilight. Happy for both of you Asri and Denise.
My first best friend was a little Malay girl. Her name is Azizah binte Pawanteh. So happy to know both of you..dear Denise n Mazri.
May I ask about your friend Azizah Pawanteh?…does she from SG or living around Johor? My mom is looking for her long lost sister.
Dear Denise n Masri I would love to attend your wedding had I been your friend n you invited me. Forgive n bless all who has grieved you. Start afresh...n step into new seasons of peace n joy. With all my love Deborah.
Such a beautiful wedding. Bless their amazing wedding!!

Mr everywhere.😃
Hi Again 😂
I guess we have many common video suggestion 😂
🤣
I don't understand why some people are so into the colour of a person. The colour on the skin maybe different, but ultimately they have the same normal blood groups flowing in their bodies. What does it matter what colour a person is as long as they treat everyone well. If someone did you evil deeds, I can understand, but not to accept a person because of his colour, it's wrong!
I Dont know about others I always tanned my body..the darker than better..suits character
So good to hear of yr story. I'm a Malay lady, married to a converted ang mo, living in USA. I'm so blessed to have him in my life. Bless you both for going with yr heart❤
Wedding parties are always noisy. No matter which part of the world u r from.

Sweet couple. Love from Malaysia.
We need more Chinese-Malay weddings . This will change our beloved older Singaporeans to embrace diversity more. Good sharing from a happy couple 👍
That’s difficult unless you don’t have to convert. Unless we can go to the same restaurant all the time , so there will always a gap in between.
Yeas.. not diverse, because always forced to converted 😑 so sad..
@@menthe4021 if I’m not wrong, if it’s a man marrying a woman, the woman doesn’t have to convert. But if it’s the other way around, the man has to convert
@@dianaahakim2001 Women don't have to convert, but there will be pressure from the muslim side to convert. Heard countless stories where the muslim parents wanting the non-muslim to convert in order to marry into the family. How I know? My own sister is one example. We don't need more chinese-malay weddings. More people need to be wiser instead of letting their heart rule over their brain.. only to regret later when things don't work out because of religious and cultural differences.
Congratulations

Lovely couple and his family seems wonderful; wishing them many years of love, health and happiness.
Hi Asri and Denise ,
so happy for you guys, i know its tough but you guys really made it in your relationship!
Denise is such a darling ❤️ sending my prayer to your family 🙏🏼
What a great union . We celebrate such unique Singapore.
There are people who can see germs across the sea but cannot see elephant in front of them. They say noises in Malay wedding but never say noises when musical band and 'dung ceng2' played to usher the death.
They refuse to accept another culture I think. Thats stupid considering the country theyre living in right now
I have a partner who is chinese and basically my family are actually open minded as my step grandma is chinese and my aunt's husband is sweden . However my partner's side is more conservative..Idk if they can accept me especially I'm the tanned skin and muslim but i hope we can stay together. I'm glad i have a partner who is supportive and love me regardless of my skin tone, religion and race
Is partner means husband?. Have both of you married?.
Its always the chinese isnt it?
@@RH-vd3yu this type of reply shows who is the POS.
Have faith and always stay strong. As long as your partner and yourself have great understanding towards one another you will be just fine and always make sure to never allow others to intrude in your marriage.
My mum always advise me, make sure you live on your own once you are married. Dont let anyone including blood relative to disrespect your husband and same goes to your husband. My husband is a very traditional yemeni and alhamdulilah his accepted me as his wife but even if they didnt idgaf as i am marrying him and not his family but luckily i dont have to face such things. Even my side of the family are great with my husband. Respect and tolerance must be there. Communicating with your husband often regarding his worries nd thoughts are important too tht way you can help each other to understand better and avoid any silly argument as that often appear in mix marriages so goodluck and hope you will be happy till jannah inshaAllah.
We are all the same black or white u both understand each other than is important god bless both of you
Agree on we are all human beings and our blood are all red colours. However, we were segregated by our own sets of beliefs
Sadly most chinese doesn't think that way
@@qiteindashenggreatsage3621 It has nothing to do with Chinese not thinking that way. In defense of my dear Chinese friends, many of them do not think this way at all. There are however, some individuals, from all walks of life, that tend to discriminate based on racial lines. I'd know. I have been subject to a fair bit of it.

Once in awhile there will be the weird one, whom decidedly feels that he/she understood enough of the other’s race or religion, and conclude that nope, not for me, even to befriend. Don’t need to mind them, for their world will remain small, till the day they leave the world. We Singaporean have the luxury of the company of many races, why not enjoy this precious aspect… look around the globe, how many countries can have this, and in good harmony? We have, and we should put in extra efforts to protect this uniqueness of Singapore.
Malaysia also has what Singapore has, cause Singapore was once part of Malaysia 😅
True, on the once part. Then things changed perhaps. But for me I wouldn’t want to comment on Malaysia side of things because it wouldn’t be fair for me to do so, because I’m not Malaysian to make any statement. As a Singaporean, I can only comment for Singapore, and not fully as well. We still enjoy that uniqueness our Singapore ways. We have a tight brotherhood honed by real tough time spent over the years in the army. Races living in the same places. From the sixties on, harmony has been our pride.
Then again, best not to bring it out of context commenting across borders. Let’s just be proud of the couple. They deserve all the respect from all of us. Cheers
@@vennsim71 totally agree with u. There is no need to always remind is that SG was part of MY. We've moved on & carved a life for ourself.

All the same. No discrimination. But also do consider that marriage should not involve religion conversion unless the other party willingly convert. But if the conversion is "force" to as part of the requirement to marry someone, than its a discrimination. Blame yourself first before blaming others.
Seriously for mindset to change it must start from the elders. They need to embrace change. I told my daughters in future they can marry people of any race of any country as long they are happy. My wife not supportive but I will need to change her mindset.
