Someone tell me if something is wrong with mine...when trying to select 'beep' only in the program mode...it does not have a beep ONLY mode...it will go thru the 3 vibrate settings, then go to beep and vibrate, then back to the 3 vibrate settings...skipping the beep only mode...anyone hear of this?? I got it today 4.16.2022 and right out of the box done this. And only can get ONE led setting, off or on...no variable led setting..
I thought retune was done by starting with the device off, then pointing at the ground turn it on. It looked like he had it on the whole time even when he clicked it to retune. Is that how it is done?
I still prefer Vibra probe 585. I hate the fact that it is impossible to know where target really is while this detects from every direction over 2" distance and also along the probe.
We understand everyone has their preferences. The F-Pulse is quite powerful and will detect over 2" in depth...but we've never had anyone who has had problems with not being able to pinpoint a target. Thanks for your feedback!
@@FisherResearchLabs I have great diffculties to find out if the target is on the wall of the hole or at the bottom of the hole or somewhere else. It just keeps noise and buzz when I put it into the hole. But now it is smallest problem. I tried to reduce sensitivity according to the video. I mean, setting up a different mode with less sensitivity. Now I don't know if probe is on or off without testing it to the spade, for example. There may be light on but it doesn't react to anything. If i press the button, light goes off and most likely pinpointer shuts down. Switching back on again is just guesswork. And all this after testing led brightness setting and changing the mode.
I have the Tek-Point and love it!! Sure would like the F-Pulse for my wife to use with her detector...plus, she would be able to see it if she accidentally forgets to pick it up. Crossing my fingers...
I have mk1 and it's pain in the ass , after first year went nuts , I lost receipt no warranty , you better make a video on how to fix it because I'm tired of hearing the dingle dingle in the hole or overloading sound , Chinese knock off GP pointer is more reliable than F-pulse , I had in the past F75 Ltd and It was greate but F-pulse is big disappointment .
