If he died tomorrow and there was a kickstarter to make his tomb a 30 foot solid iron statue of the Angel of Retribtion I'd actually donate at least a solid grand to it.
Black Sabbath might be the Godfathers of Heavy Metal, but in my opinion Judas Priest perfected it. They are the best and most important Heavy Metal band ever in my eyes.
I went to see them at GMM22 about 5 days ago and i've got to say, even at 70 years of age, Halford still has one of the best voices in the metal music industry. Love them
That’s what my dad says. He’s always been a concert dude his whole life and now he’s retired that’s all he does… he’s seen maiden and priest over 10 times each and he says both of them even today still got it and put on the best show..
For me one of unforgettable moments also is when i saw live record from London with Tim Ripper Owens and his version of singing of "Metal Gods" .It was so explosive.
ran away from home when I was 13 from San Diego to oregon and when she was at work I rifled through her albums and saw the shattered sun glasses and gave it a listen ....well the rest is history.
Rob fell on me backstage after the Poole gig in 1982. No part of his body entered mine! We also had to empty the fuel out of the bike, due to fire regulations. We had to push him on stage to the recorded sound of a bike revving. That's rock and roll for you!
All great moments but the most memorable one for me was when they put out Painkiller. I member being at a house party and a local station would play new albums on Saturday nights and they played Painkiller. I could not wait for it to come out..
Well since YOU needed to bring it up, that was an amazing moment but no, it doesn't belong on a list of memorable Judas Priest moments now does it. But obviously a very memorable Rob Halford moment since everybody remembers it!
Did ever a Judge attempted to put Kurt Cobain in trial for all the depressive swing he brought? NO, however we all know how he ended, the message Judas Priest and the rock bands at that era transmitted was being free not depressed
Pascal Farful I've always thought Lars Ulrich was by far the drumming God of Judas priest. c'mon, he released great albums like Master of Reality, Cowboys from Hell and the absolutely legendary Reign in Blood. Can't go wrong with Lars!
Goddamn it, those courts were annoying. It's like they wanna get some attention for making stupid accusation's about bands that didn't play 40's music. Thank god nowadays I don't see this shit. As much.
WOW no longer will I discriminate or hate and judge a book by it's cover.I will treat others as I would like to be treated.amazing work by the singer, musicians and video editor.and all that helped along the way.✌😄
I saw Judas priest play Pierre's in Fort Wayne Indiana without Rob halford and it was so sad it was like a garage band playing on stage the guitar players we're definitely not into it there was no energy the metal scene seem to be dead and I was depressed but now I'm 52 years old can I still love Judas priest I know times change but they're still one of my best favorite heavy metal bands love you guys
I've noticed there's a number of English folks who seem to pick up a Southern twang when they try to use an American accent, like Eddie Izzard before he got good at it.
Lowlights: guitar-synths on Turbo/Ram It Down...all the nasty comments during the break up in the 90s...and Baby Metal. Still, I'll love this band forever!!!
what i love most about RH is the fact that he gets heavier as he gets older. most wuss out as they get older. not rob not lemmy not dio not slayer etc.
Great and captivating videos. Thank you. However :) juuuuust missing the dates/ years of these JP clips. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind digging for more info, but I tend to dig through decades old guitar magazines. That takes loudwire time (and possible likes) away ;)
how do you choose the top ten moments of Judas Priest? nearly FIFTY years of being absolute Metal God's makes that a pretty tall order. I could drop a list of over a hundred in no time. don't get me wrong, this is an excellent list... but only ten? Ripper Owens stepping in, Rob voicing a character in the video game Brutal Legend(there were a bunch of rockers in it with Jack Black), Starz, their amazing set at Live Aid, and Ozzfest when Ozzy got sick and Rob filled in for the Sabbath set... I was there and it was amazing... Oh, and only ONE clip of KK Downing shredding? I apologise if I'm sounding like a pretentious know it all or something, I don't mean to, just saying this video could have been four hours long and I'd be willing to bet it would have just as many views.
Unforgettable Judas Priest Moments = Every moment of their existence.
guibox3 OH HELL YEAH ABSOLUTELY

If he died tomorrow and there was a kickstarter to make his tomb a 30 foot solid iron statue of the Angel of Retribtion I'd actually donate at least a solid grand to it.

Halford is a legend
"I might be naive, but what performer wants their audience dead?" Bill Hicks reacting to the Judas Priest trial.

Jugulator is a criminally underrated album.

Did ever a Judge attempted to put Kurt Cobain in trial for all the depressive swing he brought? NO, however we all know how he ended, the message Judas Priest and the rock bands at that era transmitted was being free not depressed

Seventh Son of a Seventh Son is my favorite Priest album.....
Paddy O'Lantern Mine was 'number of the beast'
Mine was Ace of Spades.

Chris DeGarmo is their best drummer. No question about it.
Pascal Farful I've always thought Lars Ulrich was by far the drumming God of Judas priest. c'mon, he released great albums like Master of Reality, Cowboys from Hell and the absolutely legendary Reign in Blood. Can't go wrong with Lars!

Judas Priest is the 3rd most contributing band to heavy metal .. ever

Father Halford, keeper of the faith, preacher of the metal. He earned this epitaph.

The "Do it" in Better by You, Better than Me is at 2:31 in the song. Once you hear it, you always will.
I forgot about these 10 moments.
I'm still wondering why the coming out is here. He wasn't in Priest when this occurred, and it's more of a Rob Halford moment than priest
Man, Rob sounds weird as shit when he speaks in an American accent in his film cameo.
I've noticed there's a number of English folks who seem to pick up a Southern twang when they try to use an American accent, like Eddie Izzard before he got good at it.
It's weird seeing "Video DVD" up on a giant poster as a new an exciting thing. Everywhere sells them now and people couldn't care less about them. xD
Interesting facts about Judas Priest that i never know since then...but,they still awesome metal gods ever 🤘😎🤘
We ❤Judas Priest
Lowlights: guitar-synths on Turbo/Ram It Down...all the nasty comments during the break up in the 90s...and Baby Metal.
Still, I'll love this band forever!!!
I’ve seen/was aware of all of these moments except the Turbo commercials. Those were a thing if beauty.

what i love most about RH is the fact that he gets heavier as he gets older. most wuss out as they get older. not rob not lemmy not dio not slayer etc.
I saw these guys when I was 13. they played for hours
No KK & Glenn = NO PRIEST. period!
KK's back, along with Ripper Owens and Les Binks, in "KK's Priest"!
Could also be titled, '10 random Judas Priest clips we found on the internet'. Classic Loudwire.
You sit there in court, play "Breaking The Law" and then ask the judge, "Now, why are we here in court today?"
The Turbo era was just ridiculous.
Great and captivating videos. Thank you. However :) juuuuust missing the dates/ years of these JP clips. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind digging for more info, but I tend to dig through decades old guitar magazines. That takes loudwire time (and possible likes) away ;)
Awesome human being 🔥
It's so weird seeing them in the 70s then the 80s. Halford cut his hair and they wore leather
PRIEST!!!!!!
Metal Gods!!!
