okay but using a lil flower stand in your office to hold your inventory is such a cute and big brain idea
Hehehe I'm so excited to set it up
I was going to be sarcastic and say something outrageous. But honestly, you are amazing. I love watching your vlogs, shorts or whatever. I am in the middle of nowhere for work for who knows how long stuck in a fairly decent hotel and I always love our interactions. It’s what makes supporting you and your business so easy for me. I think you do a great job with balancing promoting your business and showing off your personality online. Whatever you choose to do for however long you choose to do it. I’ll be here cheering you on and supporting however I can.
JOE I WAS WAITING FOR THE PLOTTWIST WHERE U START TALKING ABOUT STEALING MY DOGS OR SOMETHING thank u I appreciate u and your kind soul a lot 😭🩷 it keeps me motivated on my slow days 🩷🩷🩷
@@madewithapril I told you. I am a very serious no nonsense kind of guy.
Hi Tina, I've really enjoyed your vlogs, can't believe how busy you have been this summer.. you must be exhausted. Hope your move goes well. Can't wait to see you set up your new work space. Take care.😊
Thanks so much! I'm not gonna lie I'm not sure how I'm conscious half the days rn 😵💫 but will definitely be taking some time to relax after the move!!
Loving the sticker 🤣🤣
Hehehe 😅😅
good luck with moving:D i hope to buy more of your flowers soon. also i like seeing stuff about you and your life!! and youre very kind and sweet 😊
Thank you so much!!😭🩷
hi you're actually one of my role models I hope to become like :)
STOP IM BLUSHIN (ty ty ty ty)
Honestly ive been thinking about this as well. Do i want my social media to focus on what¿ but also as garbo did, if they like YOU whatever new enterprise you do, your supporters will be there as well, so inthe end its about strategie.
Me¿ i want my youtube to be like a diary of my progress, but in the other end, ive always admired people like apple cheeks and rhadia. So… idk
Totally true!! I'll def be going the double route for now because I also don't know 😅 but the great thing about it is we don't have to pick one or the other!!
you're living my dream life huh 🤭
LOL come over
I love these talk videos!! Feels so natural, and feels like I'm on Facetime or something HAHA. Good luck with your move, excited to see the new office~~
Heheh thank youu I'm excited to show it off!!
What size flower wire do you use?❤
Hi Tina, I have recently found your channel both as a crochet enthusiast and a small business start up (i also make flowers and flower art but out of wire) and i am really enjoying your content and your honesty.
I was just wondering if you have considered teaching workshops as an extention of your business? I fully understand the burnout both mental and physical of constantly making stock but also understand why you choose not to sell your patterns. If you were to teach small beginner workshops for a stem flower, or an intermediate class for a slightly more intricate one then you would have control over both the numbers of people and the type of patterns you are sharing. For instance you could either use an older pattern of yours that has been replaced by a newer version for your own stock or design a simpler version of something currently in use that is not an exact replica of what your selling. Weekend workshops maybe for a simple bouquet would also give you a way to increase your revenue without as much pressure of making daily stock. She has a different business model to you as she designs blankets but one of my favourite crocheters is a lady called Jane Crowfoot. She even does crochet getaways where her followers can come and make a project with hee on a "retreat" style getaway which is obviously at the higher end of the spectrum but something to aim for x
Hi Sarah!! Thank you for sharing and for your input! I have tried it one time but teaching has never been something I've been good at (and to be honest, I don't really have the patience for it and my introverted personality kind of doesn't like it haha). I do have some other plans on ways to extend the longevity of my business so hopefully they will come into play by next year!
The thing with combining it is that you can keep making stuff, but you can also reach a public that can't or won't buy your stuff. Because I live in the Netherlands and having small businessess ship stuff to me from the US or Canada is just way too expensive 😂
Omg thats you in that video! XD I had no clue.
Totally true!! Sometimes I wish I lived in the US instead of Canada, I feel like so much of my expenses would be cheaper there haha
That sticker was cracking me up the whole time. I had instances I be on a video call with friends and there would be a bra on the floor and I'd be like, oh well. 🤣
I thoroughly enjoy your videos as I crochet. I also follow a bunch of other small businesses on youtube because I am considering selling some stuff in the future, tho I do like to watch influencers from time to time. I think there are like maybe 2 other crochet channels I follow that don't sell anything. I watch them for inspiration mostly, the other influencers I follow I kind of stopped because I have been keeping an eye on buying stuff I really don't need to clutter up my room more.
I'm curious what kind of influencer you wanna be, would it still be in crochet or crafting in general? Cause I def would still watch regardless because I love watching people make stuff. Let the creativity flow!
Thank you for your support!! I think ultimately after thinking about it I don't really want to be an influencer LOL it's more so that it gives me a second perspective on talking about my small business? Or something like that? Hmm maybe I don't even know 😅
@@madewithapril 😂. Maybe you can still say you are because you influence me to crochet 🧶
