Mam UR EXPLANATIONS are awesome, but i have one question that at 17.56 u mentioned that in Cirrus, GCC is measured but I have read somewhere that in Cirrus, it measures GCL-IPL, WHAT IS CORRECT???
Thank you for your comment and pointing it out. It's about segmentation and yes cirrus can actually do both, GCC and GCL-IPL, whereas rt vue does GCC .
First of all I want to thank you for the videos, they are very useful and I learn a lot. Dra. I wanted to ask you a question, why is the lower area the most vulnerable in glaucoma?. Thank you.
The INFERIOR VULNERABLE ZONE is located between 45 degrees to 90 degrees inferiorly on the disc... And near it is is macular vulnerability zone( MVZ) NOW since these zones are sectors on optic disc where ganglion cells from retina are getting inserted. Since these zones are more CROWDED, than other zones of the optic nerve head.... They are more vulnerable
