This is basically a La Pavoni Professional with a fancier design, which is the basically the same as a Europiccola with a bigger boiler (and brew pressure gauge included) right? I don't know if I'm lucky or just not picky, but my Europiccola seems to do really well temperature wise, I haven't noticed any issues, no clue what the brew temp is but it always seems to give good results. Definitely a proper tamper, and funnel and small dosing cup are helpful. Does this model have a retaining spring for the portafilter basket? The other thing that greatly improved workflow for me on the Europiccola was getting a naked portafilter with a retaining spring so the basket doesn't always fly out into the knockbox. The steaming is annoying on mine because it wants to move upwards with the slightest touch, does your model do the same thing? Also 3 hole tip sprays in all directions so purging is messy / annoying. Other downsides, the whole thing is a burn hazard, other than that, it's awesome.
