Salt doesn’t necessarily raise blood pressure in all people. And adding salt to your diet is really healthy. Especially Pink Himalayan Salt, Rock Salt. Also a small touch of table salt because it contains iodine which is a mineral found in salt or certain foods that help with thyroid regulation. You will usually find that people who are told not to add salt to their diet are usually in poor health because they’ve eaten a lot of sugary starchy foods and caused them to be overweight or diabetic or at risk of cardiac issues. But usually even people suffering with hypertension are still able to add salt to their diet, it actually helps hypertension in some cases. I would not restrict salt from a diet at all. Caffeine however I would limit or even cut out for a couple of weeks. Being dependent on something to get you through the day or something you can’t go a day without is a problem that needs to be controlled.

Coffee gives you dopamine and cortisol. Happiness and stress. So never go above one cup and only in the morning, that way the benefits will outweigh the negatives.
After buying a smart watch that monitors heart rate, I quickly learnt my 8-14mg a day coffee habit was causing me some serious issues increasing my "rested" heart rate to 95-105bpm which is very poor. No coffee for the day its between 78-88bpm which is still a tad mediocre due to a bit of extra weight and not enough exerciser, but I now have clear evidence for myself Caffeine is facking terrible.
I allow myself to enjoy caffeine once per week. I don't become reliant on it, it kicks hard every time, and I don't have to use much to get an effect. But best of all, I don't have to completely cut it out of my life. (being on strong coffee and dehydrated used to make me unreasonably impatient and angry) 5. think about the reasons why u abuse caffeine and take a step to attacking that reason.. like for me i was abusing it partially because all work was boring to me (college and jobs) then i graduated and i got a job that isnt as repetitive/tedious and even tho my job has still been irritating from time to time- it doesnt make me feel like i need coffee to do it

Why did I feel like such a boomer watching this
Salt doesn’t necessarily raise blood pressure in all people.
👍👍👍 agree on salt. Moderation is a key.
Great video. It answered questions I had and was very informative.
Thanks for your interview.i take strong coffee at work because I work late as a nurse and found myself with big heart pain.I also drink coffee cans green tea all day long I figured out I had to stop
I just drink one cup per day and recently I went without coffee for the whole month of our Fasting month, I am so glad I am not addictive to it 🥰
I just drink black coffee and can confirm these side effects. It is really the only health choice I'm abusing.
What do you mean?
What are the side affects?
Me to its an addiction i cant stop
I quit drinking caffeine because I have pots and it was hard at first but totally worth it. Now if I have caffeine it makes me feel so gross and dehydrated plus it gives me heart palpitations
I cannot imagine my life without coffee.
(Grim Reaper) I can accept those terms.
You could if you had a heart problem.
That’s horrid.
@A.J. Ello yea sad
Faisal Rishu then you're an addict
Today is day 2 of no caffeine. Caffeine amplifies my anxiety and gives me jitters. Sucks feeling like that for 6-8 hours and nothing I can do but wait it out.
Get a glass of organic honey mixed with some fresh lemon and warm water every morning, and you gonna feel great all day long.
My body knows that as a coffee that is it!
Leonel not trying to be a smartass but what is it that makes honey organic? Special bees? All raw honey is organic. However if you slap organic on the label you can charge $5 more.
That’s not true at all. If it’s not organic, chances are it will contain harmful pesticides.
not everybody can live like that though, what works for you works for you
I am on risperidone ( an oblong shaped one) and having coffee a couple of cups a day was fine. Just a couple of years ago outpatient clinic changed to a tablet named risperidex and I started having racing heartbeat or irregular heartbeat and anxiety problem when I have more than one cup of coffee. Now I even have to reduce my instant coffee to 3/4 of a 20gram sachet. I am just glad that I do not have positive symptoms and a controlled mental health but now have to manage my food and coffee intake to control new problems like irregular / fast heartbeat or anxiety.
Sounds like the problem is the risperidex, not the coffee.
Since changing to decaf, my episodes of AF have dropped by 95%.
Thanks so much Dr
I believe to the revelations of the doctor. I myself experienced such. When I drink coffee, I feel different on my chest. My heart have irregular heartbeat.
To anyone who need their morning dose of caffeine to "wake up", raw ginger works miracles, better than coffee.
Raw ginger ? How to have it
@@KeshawKishan Just slice some and eat it
But the cravings...
I stopped just a few days and i think it helped lessen me having trouble when breathing
When I drank 5 cups of black coffee I had atrial fibrillation. Now max 1 cup, no atrial fibrillation. So this Doc is right.
I have lowered my caffeine intake from 2 cups to a cup now. Strangely, my anxiety has calmed down, and can somehow sleep better...
Coffee gives you dopamine and cortisol. Happiness and stress. So never go above one cup and only in the morning, that way the benefits will outweigh the negatives.
Thanks for telling the truth.
Fantastic interview 👍
After buying a smart watch that monitors heart rate, I quickly learnt my 8-14mg a day coffee habit was causing me some serious issues increasing my "rested" heart rate to 95-105bpm which is very poor. No coffee for the day its between 78-88bpm which is still a tad mediocre due to a bit of extra weight and not enough exerciser, but I now have clear evidence for myself Caffeine is facking terrible.
I quit caffiene and find large anxiety. A little lethargic and weak. But my blood pressure is finally low!
If a cup of coffee was 4oz in the 90s like he said, how much coffee did they add? Like a tsp or less?
I allow myself to enjoy caffeine once per week. I don't become reliant on it, it kicks hard every time, and I don't have to use much to get an effect. But best of all, I don't have to completely cut it out of my life. I have 1/7th the side effects, but it's likely not linear, rather exponentially lower, could be 1/100th the side effects of daily use perhaps.
Caffeine makes my heart beat like crazy
same here
I need to find out if I can change Coffee to Hot Chocolate drinks instead as down to 4 mugs a day and need to reduce
Good info!!
I'm going to cut down my coffee after watching this, I chanced upon this a s a result of trying to do something about chest pains. Great thing about coffee though is it's a natural laxative..must dash, am serious, Mr Whippy is on the way
I can't even open my eyes without caffeine just procrastinate feel like a catatonic tomato
I have to cough to throw my heart rhythm back to normal... I rely heavily on caffeine for energy.
I do the exact same thing
Caffeine is stress not energy
I cough but it's just a symptom. All I can do is wait and take an aspirin. Aspirin calms me down because if I have a heart attack or stroke then I probably won't die. I don't think energy in diminishing returns is this important.
@@Pallo87 well it sure gives me enough stress to think and do the things I need to get done in a day. Especially when I fell sluggish and my mind is not thinking fast enough. Caffeine does help with alertness and getting shit done.
I want them to go more into how Aspirin can prevent heart attacks. Just plain old aspirin. That's pretty amazing.
I had 4 cups then went to dialysis. My heart was beating weird and my body overheated with sweat on my back. Oh I was terrified.
I’m here cause I’m just wondering, in the mornings, up until like 2pm. I drink coffee. Lots of it. But I feel I dont have much focus and energy. Also I have been feeling perhaps mu heart funny. Don’t know if this has something to do with it. I don’t know if to leave it all at once or perhaps drink less🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I recently noticed abnormal heart rhythm and rapid heart beat even though I am resting. I am 43. normally drink one cup/mug a day at home. Have done this for years. Suddenly I am having this but I do know when this started I switched to my husbands stronger brand of coffee. I went to the doctor and no high blood pressure and normal EKG. But high pulse rate like close to 100 beats per minute resting. I am going to cut back and see if this is the reason. If it is I guess I am going to be a decaf coffee drinker :(
Caffeine is very harmful to your health. It’s best to not touch that stuff altogether.
I was on statins and started having all kinds of muscle pain. I thought I was dying. When I told my dr. he said to quit the statin. The pain went away. Sugar is the devil.
I Have been Diagnosed w/ Paraoxymal AFIB and am wondering if its the Caffeine or can I Drink Coffee non-caffeinated?? Which in Truth I'm Drinking now? as I Think most non-caffeinated Coffee have minimal amounts anyways , I sometimes wonder if its the caffeine causing small glitches of Aflutter that I feel or the Heart-Gut Connection ! My indigestion,I've told one of my cardiologists and he said nothing and shock his head...
6:29 - in many states, you DO actually need a physician order for a coronary calcium CT scan, even if you’re willing to self-pay cash out-of-pocket on the spot.
i was addicted to coffee and caffeine.. it was horrible i would buy the doubleshot espressos in a can and spend like $70 on them and drink on average 2 per day.. but some days i drank more.. it was a horrible addiction.. i got to where i would pretty much do anything to get the espressos.. not to a crazy point or anything, but i just mean i would always find a way to scrounge up enough to get another can.. it was a horrendous addiction.. it got to where i thought the answer to everything was coffee.. headache? coffee.. stomach ache? coffee.. bored? coffee.. need to wake up? coffee.. need to relax? coffee.. all i can say to anyone struggling is this... 1. pray that Jesus sets u free 2. think about the money u are spending 3. think about your health (especially if u are having heart palpitations or twitches in your face) 4. think about how your mood is affected.. (being on strong coffee and dehydrated used to make me unreasonably impatient and angry) 5. think about the reasons why u abuse caffeine and take a step to attacking that reason.. like for me i was abusing it partially because all work was boring to me (college and jobs) then i graduated and i got a job that isnt as repetitive/tedious and even tho my job has still been irritating from time to time- it doesnt make me feel like i need coffee to do it
Informative!
Which coffee can I drink for my heart if I had ulcers?
Caffeine makes some people crazy too!
🤐
that huge cups of coffee have the same amount of coffee shot as a small cup of coffee, it just has more milk in it. all these coffeess have an espresso and the rest milk according to the cup size. right #/?
I occasionally get an excruciating chest pain through drinking too much caffiene mixed with alcohol 😕
Caffeine and my heart are not friends anymore, but quitting that wonderful stuff hurt my head for at least a week.
Great content well expressed and clear
How much does caffeine raise blood pressure especially if your metabolism is slow
I stopped drinking coffee and only drink decaffeinated coffee the best thing I did for my ❤️.
Right, and what's the maximum amount of caffeine that your body can absorb at once?
Is it good or bad for you ? As I've seen so many videos saying the benefits for drinking in moderation
Paid for by coffee companies. Same with smoking 🚬
I love the FACT of comparing energy drink and coffee...
K2D3 & Boron + Lenin juice & apple cider vinager(1/4 a day of each combined) clears the arteries.
~ I remember using coffee as a boost. Best thing I did was quit! Now I have decaffeinated coffee - but not very much. Green tea too.
Caffeine is a bad habit 👎
Support Done here 🥰
This was so helpful
From my experience, in my grandmother's day's they all drank coffee and those people lived into their 80's and 90s . In my opinion these doctors want to keep everyone on medicine. Its a big business.
They also have way better genes than us, better environment, better food, way less stress and slower lifestyles and way more active lifestyles, no smartphones, computers and television only had few channels.
They did but what was coffee back then was a dose of 50 mg of caffeine.Maybe they have it twice a day so 100 mg caffeine max.Now with all the energy drinks and shit the amounts of caffeine are ridiculous
I took about 600mg of caffeine from pre workouts basically everyday for 2 years and it triggered underlying anxiety and still trying to figure out if i have abnormal heart rythms. Lost my fit body, my fitness life, and drive. Not worth it to take large amounts of caffeine daily. I look back and would rather workout after taking caffeine from a chocolate bar.
I always wondered why Andy Griffith could drink coffee after dinner on the show and be able to sleep. His little cup was probably 30 mg. caffeine. 60 years gone by.
I thought one cup a day contains antioxidants?
I went to decaf made me feel the same way .
in my experience with caffeine addiction, I realized the thing about needing more is only because you get mentally addicted to being at top caffeinated levels, and if the feeling is any less potent, I added more caffeine to feel the same boost.. however, after being hooked on 5 hr energy for 6 years at a min. 2 bottles a day with 1 or 2 cups of coffee on occasion...I have brought my intake down to 420mg on average per day. I've gone days at 225mg ... my ultimate goal would be to go all day on 100 to 125mg caffeine.... however, my job isnt conducive to an active lifestyle, and I sit at a cpu for 8 hours a day. sitting makes you tired faster because humans are meant to move.
I switched to decaf and it lowered my blood pressure.
@Joe Al Yeah, and caffeine isn't that bad in general. There's naturally other, more toxic things in coffee, although in trace quantities.
The problem is the sugar in those altered drinks..
Just like anything else, as long as you don’t over do it, you’re fine.
I drank a moderate amount as a sixty plus year old and developed very frequent PVC's. Could have been something else but I wonder if it was the caffeine. Persisted though even when I quit so may have been something else.
my brother 65 yrs old had four heart attacks since ten yrs ago, , needs one more stent back of heart but doesn't bother. don't excercise, drinks four cups coffee mornings, drinks BUD six pack day , three packs smokes a day since 18 yrs old , eats ham, pork chops , steak, doc started him on crestor , three months later diabetes, one year later legs in pain has to crawl, doesnt take all meds for diabetes, or blood pressure, says he feel better, been like this for ten yrs! SUPERMAN ? EVERYBODY DIFFERENT!
He may still be alive but is his quality of life worth living?
@@Tatyana_Co iam ten years older born faulty heart valve had fixed 7 yrs go quit smoke 38 yrs go walk ,150 -200 minutes week half dat uphill do slot of things brother younger and legs always in pain he recently retired and can't do much ! Told him the poisons he been putting in body got him condition he got but he says that your philosophy not mine so okay you got your road git mine everything good ! So let it be the werldgoies where it goes ! Stay safe ! 😃
I think coffee is the reason why I can’t breath
me too
Same. I quit for 1 day and my breathing got better
Me too I’ve got to get off it
I’m on day 5 no caffeine (3-4 energy drinks a day prior for the past 3 years.) I too feel my lung function has been improved dramatically. Always had shortness of breath before.
I have one black coffee a day from my nespresso machine. Surely that is ok?? Is this about people who have starbucks a lot?
I always drink small one and not from Starbucks, cuz i know their average portions are oversize always, intense shots, so yeah, i also want to quit it, i think its better to drink matcha latte or just matcha tea, but of course not much,
I've switched My second mug of the day with Folgers Decaf. I drink a Mug of Maxwell House to start My day. I was tired of losing the circadian wheel of fortune.
I can actually feel my heartbeat raise after I drink a diet soda. I’m 42 it’s only started bothering me in the last year.
Coke has caffeine
But you in twentys.
My dad drinks one a day in the morning and that works for him. One time I made him quit for few weeks and he was never as upbeat or energetic as he was on coffee. Never drink more than one and in the morning and that way the benefits will outweigh the negatives. Only have two sometimes for fun and when you have next day off so youcan get enough sleep.
Doesn't not enough salt also cause blood pressure problems?
Everybody is different, some people like my grandparents can drink it with no problems, and then there's people like me, who stay away from that poison lol.
I drink coffee with oatmilk 3 to 4 times per week. I drink one cup per sitting. It makes me happy to drink coffee & write. I have low blood pressure. I am blessed. I can do salt and caffeine. Amein. 💕
Your evil.
Moderation seems to be a key.
I wonder what his thoughts are on our now standard amount of 300mg of Caff in the energy drinks of today 😬
I only drink Decaf because the real stuff gives me a really bad Migraine within 1/2 hour of drinking it. That includes sugar free fizzy drinks. SO i buy the no caffeine, no sugar coke if I have to buy a fizzy drink. Other wise I have plain old everyday water, either from the tap or spring water from the supermarket.
Wow, the thing that always amaze me is how much people are really scared of death
Бане Д. Really though, like come on relax! It's inevitable, accept it
This man is really passionate of what he knows. Hes a smart fellow to understand the dangers of the human body to compare the studies that he realized hasnt ever been done between the rythmic patterns of people who drink coffee and dont. Hes very aware theres a difference. Of course coffee is bad for you!!!
I feel so good after 🚰 caffeine and I have high blood pressure
