"Azamina Elzette of the White Forest" is indeed an "Azamina" and a "White Forest" monster Basically a free special that if paired correctly can bridge into either Azamina stuff (by making the Fusion that searches) or Sinful Spoils (by making the Fusion or by using it as Synchro material) I feel insane potential for this card
So there is still a major issue, specially if we increase the count of Azamina and Sinful Spoils cards... If you only open Sinful Spoils cards, there is no way to access your White Forest engine.... This has always been the main issue .. if we had our own Original Sinful Spoils... Then the deck would begin to be consistent...
there are enough WF cards that its not going to be an issue to draw them in an actual WF deck - i think the question will be more like: do you want to play a WF deck? or do you want to play a smaller WF engine? because of AZ elzette the wf portion is easier to access because for example one silvy alone through tales gets you az elzette etc - but then one rucia does nothing without an appropriate combo piece
I was just waiting for your video about it, dont know If the suport is good or not but seeing the new Elzette have both Azamina and WF written on her card got me super excited for what is to come
It’s great now you have an amazing 1 card combo. Silvy normal summon, search tales, tales search the new monster, effect to special itself, use it as synchro material to get into level 6 white forest monster and at that point you can search deception to get into azamina and elzette to keep on cooking with white forest. So you get full board of both archetypes at once just from a single silvy
We also have to keep in mind we likely still don't have the full context for the SUDA support. There are still slots for more lore cards in this set, JP009, in particular, is 100% a Sinful Spoils lore monster. Personally, I think we're getting Morrigan (the Witch Elzette is fighting in Play the Diabell, who is Diabell and Moa Regina) as JP009, and a Azamina fusion for Poplar (following the events of Azamina Harmatia).
The biggest strength of a card like Azette is that it lets you turn a hand of all WF monsters into one with monsters and spells, and turns on Tales without using the normal or pitching a spell/trap. You can go out of your way to use both herself as fusion and synchro material in the same turn by using one of your sinful spoils searches on Susurrus and bounce back Silhouhatte Rabbit to pay the cost, but that seems like a lot of investment when you can grab something like new WF Fusion spell to make Erychithon on the opponents turn using Diabell and something like Chaos Angel to get the add back of Azette when the turn rolls over. Hopefully there's a collection of ancillary cards that have something to do with Fiends, as both Erychithon and the Sinful Spoil White Forest card both name drop the typing, but there are none in engine. Unless you want to count Goblin Bikers but that seems like a stretch. All in all I see this card replacing the Toy Engine entirely, opting to run just an amount of WF spells (Tales, Woes, Scourge, and Sinful Spoils probably) and playing with around 12 pieces of non-engine. The mockup I've been piecing together in the meantime is on 3 Ash, 3 Imperm, 2 Nib, 1 Veiler, 2 Tactics, and 1 HFD.
So the immediate concern is see is that White Forest can search into Azamina because Azamina Elzette can search Deception or WANTED, but not the other way around in a meaningful way - Deception and Mu Rcielago can search Azamina Elzette but that doesnt make White Forest work. I imagine a way to work with this is to play a smaller Azamina engine than normal - maybe 3 WANTED, 1 Diabellstar, 1 Deception and 1 Hallowed as a minimum - which you can access both by hard drawing or through engine by synchroing off the Azamina Elzette. I need to tinker with the cards more because I'm still fairly uncertain on specific ratios.

I think the fiendsmith engine is a lot stronger because you can bridge into the other engines & even the fiend material azamina monsters by fusing into berfomet (with sequencia) since it requires illusions/sends illusions.
Pretty sure he said that because even though the new Elzette is an Azamina, she’s also a WF monster and thus it’d have been enough for her to be able to summon WF monsters if we don’t get any more Azamina main deck monsters. But you’re correct, nonetheless
The cards that you mentioned early on maybe designed to work with Sinful Spoils Deception and Debtors, since both of those send spell or traps to the grave at resolution
Because it searches a sinful spoils card: Basic Elzette send a spell/trap to search silvy Normal Silvy search the archetypal Rota. Synch into rciela send archetypal rota to add whatever. Archetypal rota sets itself, you activate it to add azamina elzette. Azamina elzette summon itself. Synch for Diabel add something back from grave. Search susurrus Silvy put the rciela back Susurrus to add back the silvy and summon azamina elzette. Now fusion summon using silvy and azamina elzette.
i dont think its worth going for a line like that because it requires that your opponent does nothing, and susurrus is a horrendous card. i think its more realistic to play only good cards and your combos will change based on what youve drawn every hand, but you should still be able to make teh same things - aside from with siding, in which case the buster lock with chaos allure queen is probably the strongest lock possible
Not saying that’s best. It’s just a way to get both the fusion and synchro effects on it off. If we’re talking about what’s standard though most isolated white forest lines die to 1 form of disruption and go minus into it. Ash/Dominus Impulse/Purge on basic elzette is brutal. The deck struggles heavily under droll Imperm/Veiler on the normaled silvy or astellar leaves you without a send for synch-ing into rciela unless you drew another one.
If you cook, could you also think about if there is a possible Fuwaloss line? Like what to do if you get handtrapped by it and you have no Ash. What would be a board which lets you interact with your opponent without straight up losing the game? Maybe you do something with Debtors and Woes? No clue. Would be cool though!

i think the new monster enables you both. you can use it as maerial and still go into azamina fusions with deception oder wanted. and if you already have all the synchro plays, you just use the effect to fuse.
Yeh its the extender to bridge the 2 archetype easier together. The quick play and her are to help the deck play around getting handtrap more flexible it's not the best cuz I'm sure they didn't want to make it to broken but with 1 more WF or azamina monster everything should come together

play of the diabell is indirect shaddoll support, outside of that I still figuring it out. Both spells are kinda bad, they tried to tie synergy with diabellstar but why not have made the older cards work with that like dramatic chase & sinful spoils silvera…
dunno man being able to tech guardian chimera into azamina while dodging targeted effects feel very very nice to me. Might not be the way for WF but its a good option for decks that use azamina.
it is also very resource intensive and if you get ashed on the chimera you might destroy your recovery. its not bad but it requires a specific setup so not sure how reliable it will be
@@BimYGO I see the spell as a branded in red. The utility of being able to Dodge targeted effects and developing your board and card advantage cannot be underestimated. If he has ash he has it .. On your part what you have to do is include something that will allow you do chainblock. Chimera might not it of course but functionally a searchable quick Play fusion feels good.
Play the Diabell could set up winda since you could send apkallone from extra to search schism. If this card becomes searchable and you can get another dark in the gy it may be worth looking at.
Yeah my first impression of these cards is that they're not really useful for WF variants other than Azamina of the White Forest. Feels like Konami doesn't want White Forest to be tier 1 and it's relegated to a regional tier deck. People who are commenting that any of these are broken don't have reading comprehension.
My brother in Christ, the OCG, is getting this at the end of the CURRENT month on the 26th. We will be getting this set in January 2025, which is about 3 1/2 months away.
We don’t mind longer videos given the analysis. I’m also tired of the lazy reaction videos out there when half the time they don’t know the archetype in any meaningful way
Also, don’t be afraid to add Engraver to lists! Closed Heaven is too good not to play even the minimal package and it’s not even debatable. Also going down in price so it’s more inclusive.

If you keep the toy engine. Tank can bring back Elzette and use the other effect
You probably want to main 1x Susurrus now. It makes you able to use every aspect of azamina elzette in a 1.5 card combo built around ns silvy

Sending betrayal with diabellstar's summon effect is good cause if they chain you can chain the betrayal

Honestly cut both Diabellstar and Elzette to two and play new elzette as a two of and you're good. No need to add more bricks into the deck.

You can already do this in a much more reliable way with Muddy Mudragon into Guignol

I think if you want maximum azimina elzette value, you use a sillohat rabbit & any other white woods card to fuse, then synchro for the spoils add.
So is there a way to search any light spell caster and then special summon it from the hand now??? Bc that seems pretty good with like quem/cartesa
rciela searches it and wf ss specials it, but its not resource efficient so probably will just be a jowgen combo or some other flood
