The most "budget" Fiendsmith build is to run the single Engraver copy. Then you can get Caesar or if you care more about cards such as Evenly pivot into Lars instead, essentially making an one use pseudo Desirae without needing the full package
Starting with Chaos Angel defensively has a lot of potential, then using Dawn Dragster to protect Angel from essentially its only outs so that Dragster itself is also protected. Very interesting idea I've never cooked with any other level 7 apart from Shooting Riser for WF (I'm more on the centurion part)
Unless Droll becomes mained, I still enjoy Chicken Game and Upstarts for the free fodder and consistency, now even better for PeP. I wish we get more Chicken games in later banlists (and an ots reprint) to fully replace the Upstarts. Sadly toys have to be set to trigger, I would have loved some added synergy with Allure queen equipping them and looping them with WF effects essentially making them free discards even when box isn't in rotation.
If Ghost Ogre is going to be more popular next format, doesn't the ED lock just die to it then by just destroying the Chaos Allure Queen? I mean you win game 1 going first for sure, but which deck doesn't win going first nowadays? Of course, getting hand trapped thrice or getting blown out is a thing, but that can still happen even if you're playing a tier 1 deck. It's interesting for sure though
yea ogre on queen stops the buster lock - but that also means your opponent is forced to choose between ogreing queen and toy box, for example. most of these cards are good not because of the end result but because it forces interactions that let you play another branch. if it doesnt let you play another branch then its not as good
@@BimYGO Yeah makes sense. Man, I wish these possibilities would be in archetype though and not out of archetype. Sometimes you just open Astellar and some spell and your plays just live and die by Astellar resolving, it's pretty frustrating
If you run the level allure queen 7, you rank 7 into harmonizer gradielle which is an out to droll and a good interruption and a difficult monster to out.
@@Aexeq it’s a competition like anyone complains when they lose they just change their tune based on what your playing. Someone saying your wf runick deck is a stun deck is someone who’s opinion you don’t even need to consider IMO
@@jamesnightblade3770 absolutely true. And if I win with a deck, that allows multiple different interactions, that's arguably the best thing to happen. If I don't win, then at least I didn't lose an unbeatable handtrap war against Yubel. Also stun matchups with WF Runick are very WF Runick favoured, so it's just a good deck.

Cool Engine, sadly Golden Allure Queen does not come out for "i-don't-know-how-long", since everything besides chaos allure queen is from AC04...
We will probably get them on the first reprint set of 2025 (Maze, Ghost from the past, Duel X) since those OCG sets are typically imported there

there is no replacement for it, but its also not needed so you can play anything you want in that spot, like silhouatte rabbit
