US sports channels(NBC and others) could learn a lot about putting on a 1st class sports presentation from European Athletics. They didn't give away the winner in the title. Additionally, they showed ALL the participants on each relay team before they went back to the starters. Each of those women spent a lot of time and energy getting here and it's great that European Athletics gives them their moment.
I think it really depends on the philosophy of these channels whose bread and butter are network TVs. In tennis Wimbledon UA-cam channel is very stingey with their highlights, barely more than 3 minutes across a 5 set match for example, while the Australian Open averages 5 and goes up to 8 minutes sometimes.
LOL Let me get this right. The countries that took African slaves and slevectively bred them for physical prowess -those countries win medals. But the countries that did not make Africans be slaves -those countries miss out on medals here #LOL

NED's Tasa Jiya is a very effective W4x1 anchor leg, would like to see NED at full strength with Klaver & Seedo in the Team! GBR running 41.91 with that lineup was interesting as they experimented with moving Dina off her usual 3rd leg to 1st leg & 2nd leg regular Imani Lansiquot who skipped Euros was replaced by a returning Desiree Henry 11.36 SB (who's still very much working her way back to her 11.06 PB shape). It suggests that GBR are possibly trying to challenge JAM (given the current issues with the Big 3) by possibly going with Dina ▶ Amy ▶ Imani ▶ Daryll in Paris to try & break the current 41.55 NR by at least 0.2s to move ahead of #3 GDR's 41.37 on the all-time list!
If all GB women are on top form it should be Dina - Imani - Amy - Daryll. Dina best starter and is the only one that can beat melissa jefferson on that first leg, imani normally has a storming backstraight (think she clocked sub 10 in eugene world champs), daryll always brings it home well. It'll just depend on who can run that third leg to a good standard because I genuinely think Dina - Imani could give a lead to third leg over melissa - TT terry
@@dya101992 Amy Hunt actually ran one of the quickest 2nd legs @World Relays which makes me think she might start there with Imani on 3rd - if they get it right, they'll destroy the current 41.55 NR!
International competition in athletism is loosing its meaning.. in 20 years, all European teams will race with black athletes so what is the point of nations then? I dont find it right ..
of course there are millions, but also a big portion athletes are out of this set. I am talking in general, not only blacks, for example Ni Xia Lian, Chinese table tennis player playing for Luxemburg after the age of 30 where she already won many medals for China till that age…so if that makes sense for you, no comment.. From my point of view, an athlete should be competing for the country where he/she got the most of the training/fundamentals..that country is making an investment and effort for the athlete’s development for years, its not fair another country stole it..

Good points. NBC has bias.
European commentators know their athletes backgrounds….big difference to the network commentators from the U S
@@ianwallace16not sure about that, the US mine data and history more than any other country.

Ok, but the thumbnail showed the winners
Euro 2022 both Britain & France were heartbroken as their baton fell in their race & 2 years later they are Gold & Silver medalist

We are about to see some wild times in Paris.
Let's hope we don't have the same tv directors with these far away camera angles.
If they could pass the baton like this in Paris Olympic they could have won the relay
The dutch girl who ran the 4th leg was the real MVP.
Very proud of our GB team!! 🇬🇧

I'm wondering what kind of time Seedo-Bol-Jiya-Klaver or Seedo-Klaver-Visser-Jiya could run ?👀

Fantastic
The Battle between the Swiss and the Dutch continues.
Lane 8 lost the baton. They should be DQ’d not 4th unfortunately. The announcers don’t seem to notice.
Wasn't it over the line though ?
Black girl magic!
If only they could pass the baton like this in Paris Olympic they could have get the could have get the gold
Swiss girl a bit dissapointed
As she should.. She choked.

Why Germany doesn’t have Gina on the final leg is crazy to me.

yay!
Dutch 1st runner is a bit weak. Luckily their anchor are super fast. TURBO ON 😂😂. Congratulations Team GB 😂🎊🎊😍💐😍💐💐😍💐😍💐😍
Britain is weak, if it wasn't that they were running as Britain, they are racist to Jamaicans to each other, from a white Caucasian😂
When you consider the women's 100m WR is 10.49 . . . . sub 42s for the relay really isn't ground breaking.
Is for European nations especially a tiny nation like GB which has very little funding unlike other countries 😊
