NED w/o Bol, Klaver & Peeters barely qualified from the semi in 8th place & that was w/o their strongest EUR Rival GB who didn't send a W4x4 to Euro Champs! Would be worth NED repeating what it did with Klaver (7.41/11.33/22.46/49.58) with Tasa Jiya (7.25/11.22/22.62/???) re moving her up from the short sprints to the 400m given their similar 60/100/200m PBs & builds! Converting Jiya into a 3rd sub 50s quarter-miler (with Bol & Klaver) builds much needed depth for NED's W4x4 & Mixed 4x4! NOR W4x4 with Henriette Jaeger in the team should easily run a sub 3.26 NR.
During the first heat (that Poland won), one of the commentators stated Poland has not been racing well since the Olympics, when the other commentator stated they have been in the top two in pretty much everything they have run since the Olympics. Well guys, which one is it? Then the second commentator said that Poland was well ahead in the fourth leg, and you could see the German runner two feet behind the Polish runner. Are these two new to calling track?
it really annoys me that they just stand there totally oblivious on the track after handing the baton over and those behind have to swerve around to get past, all they need do is step off to the left or move over into lane 1 but no they just wander about
Yeah was a little weird, but the explanation given at the time was that with GB OLY Trials just a couple wks after Euros, they wanted to give everyone the fairest chance of competing as fresh as possible for the 3 400m spots given how spread out everyone was around the world & having already run a number of relays @World Indoors & World Relays that yr. They should still have sent a 'B Team' imo made up of ppl who weren't realistically going to make that OLY 400m Team at the Trials (Ama Pipi, Hannah Kelly, Emily Newham, Hannah Brier & Charlotte Henrich).
@@Hoosayn Sounds harsh, but Ama (50.75 PB) was the 9th fastest British quarter-miler in '24 with a 51.67 SB behind 800m runner Keely's 51.61 PB who btw finished 7th in the 400m Final @Trials whereas Ama didn't even make it out of the semis! Should've gone to the Euros as the most experienced member of that young relay team & tried to run herself into form! Good that she's now joined the Nielsen Twins' training group (along with IRE's Sharlene Mawdsley) after seeing Laviai level up this yr with a 49.87 PB & Lina with 50.78 & 54.43 400mH PBs!

European athletics is quite beautiful to my eyes🤔
Second place plz like i am a lonely child that has no friends and that wants some love at christmas time👇👇

It's a shame they don't put the athlete's names on the front of their shirt. I can guess the country by the colors.
Why no GB team?

@@AllInTheGame01 Calling Ama pipi a "B" runner is wild, shes already an olympian and has world medals
