  • Mist farming, mist whispering, and purple fury. What a biome Mistlands is turning out to be.
Be mindful that I'd like to experience as much of this fresh as possible. No spoilers please.
    Give tips when:
    - I ask for them.
    - I'm doing something wrong.
    - I could be doing something better.
    DON'T give tips when:
    - They spoil the surprise or joy of discovery.
    - They're about things I haven't seen, unlocked, or otherwise shouldn't know about yet.
    - Finding out the hard way seems like more fun ;)

Tip: 53:53 Keep digging. You are missing a bunch of soft tissue as the skull exetnds underground. It's valuable stuff and need as much as possible.

Yes, you are going blind! Bone Stack is right there on the top row of the hammers Misc tab 😉
And, yes. The linen cape has always been there

You have to want wood for a campfire; then the little shoots will drop yggdrasil wood!

    Enjoy your holiday, Blondie.
Nice that your new farm comes with it's own guardian.

Cheers, it’s been great so far.
Let’s see how long my poor farm protector lasts 😳

Hope you have a great holiday Blondie!
Little tip for when you’re desperately searching for a few more wood, you can smash the vines growing on structures, there’ll usually give 1 or 2 per vine section.
Other little tip in terms of game mechanics, after a certain point, hens won’t lay more eggs if you have too many within a given space, one to watch in terms of maintaining an optimal number in one place.
Catch in you a couple of weeks! 👍👍

Thanks, my friend, loving the time off!
Ah, good tip. Let’s see if I can remember that when I’m back.
Ooh, okay, I’ll need to watch the hen situation then. Perhaps relocate the incubator to another area.

The wisp fountains don't like being close together . . . I think there is a limit to how many wisps can be in one spot. I have them far apart at my base and they each will attract several wisps.

Perfect timing Blonde, you'll be hitting Ashlands in no time now that it's actually out! Can't wait :)

I’m stoked, though there’s still so much of Mistlands to explore.

@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Bro Ashlands is no joke… granted I’m playing blind and hardest difficulty … still I like to think I’m good at the game and I’m getting smashed lol.

@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Eh you’re on normal difficulty and tank armor, you’ll be ok :)

I believe you do not need a workbecnh to put down wisp torches, which is handy.
Also; the game was tweaked so that enemies will generally leave the wisp torches alone.
    They do not prevent spawns.

    • @trengilly01
      @trengilly01 22 дні тому +1

Yes . . You do not need a workbench to place wisp torches

Yeah, Catspaw mentioned the same thing. I swear I looked through the menu but I guess I missed it.

I do get nostalgia for the original pre-nerf Mistlands. Originally the seekers used the Wolf AI and would bumrush you super aggressive. It was scary. And the flying Gjall could fire multiple fire blasts at the same time . . . talk about the apocalypse! Mistlands was a much more hostile place. And spawns were reduced. Players complained 'its too hard and no fun' and the devs nerfed it. 🙄
Its still plenty dangerous but a much more chill atmosphere. I still love it though.

People on steam still complain daily about Mistlands... I've never figured out why. Mistlands is fun and scary. Kinda like the swamp when you first enter it. I also enjoy it. Nothing feels better than conquering the mistlands and being able to smash multiple seekers. Sometimes I just go there to fish and farm.

It could just be me, but the only complaint I have so far is that ticks spawn far too frequently. Other than that I’m really enjoying the biome. Wouldn’t it be awesome if the devs added an ‘Old Mistlands’ option to revert the behaviour and spawns. That’d be an interesting time I’m sure.

You're going a bit overboard with the farming . . . you have hundreds of flax and barley in stock. Just leave the crop growing until you start to actually run low and then harvest! . . . I think you are also preparing a mushroom farm for 120 vikings! 😉

    • @Blondefire_HeyBlondie
      @Blondefire_HeyBlondie  14 днів тому +1

Just preparing for the apocalypse, fellow viking. 😋
Haha, I agree, flax can’t definitely calm down. As for barley, I’d like to keep production up until I farm some other seeds for the chooks.
