Walnut Deputies in the unincorporated city of Rowland Heights responded to assist a felony stop on the 18200 block of Colima Rd. at the Carl's Jr drive-thru. The suspects were possibly 10-29V (Property Reported Stolen) suspects. Both subjects were detained, one later released.

The near-miss with the pedestrian is very disturbing. Not sure who would have been ruled at fault if the car had struck her- the woman who didn’t or the deputy (with no siren), but definitely a wake-up call.
Sarge jammed that Tahoe into park a little early. Good way to screw up the transmission.

I grew up in Rowland Heights and I can attest LASD never ran Code 3 from 1960 thru 1977. The only time you heard LASD running code would have been to a baby not breathing.
