I guess it all depends on what you're going to use the axe for. The price seems nice, but it would be good to see them in action and see how they hold up.
I DID pick up that $8 cheapo to keep in my vehicle (I have a knack for being the first one on scene at several bad accidents) but thought better of it. I would hate to have the head flying off and causing more chaos..lol..Plus i got a Fiskars X7 for Christmas and love it! Thanks for the video!
Good call sound like you might want to look into getting a Halligan.tool lol. I’m glad you enjoyed it thanks for watching! liveactionsafety.com/alloy-tactical-halligan-entry-tool/?sku=ZT302-36&gad_source=1
When it comes to the Harbor Freight Hickory Hatchet, I noticed it seems to have dropped in quality over the last few years. Between the pin that they put through the head and handle or the edge geometry seemingly thinning out, it just seems Harbor Freight has cut corners on this axe. Given the economy, I understand. Still, I picked up one of these hatchets 4 years ago and wanted a spare only to find it has changed. Was disappointed to say the least
Thanks for your dedication to volunteer fire and rescue! Your curiosity about using an axe for extrication shows your commitment to learning and improving your skills!

How much did he pay for the small hatchet?😊
About $9.00.
So where's the test on these two?
The test? Oh, it got lost in the Bermuda Triangle of my to-do list! But don't worry, it's on the way!
They have Halligans and a mini Jaws of life kit on isle 4 too. lolololololol
I guess aisle 4 is where you go for some lighthearted rescue missions! Who knew shopping could be so adventurous? 😂
