    Natural, permed, relaxed, it doesnt matter... she has a beautiful head of hair. Stop the belly aching , watch, and learn . Whether natural or relaxed we ALL can learn from her videos because I am natural and I know that I have! Furthermore, you cant get feather fluffing advice from bald chickens!

    The reason I texlaxed my hair. Before I went natural my hair was long, thick and healthy. When I transitioned to natural, my hair starting breaking off and stopped growing. I am over this natural hair thing.

      SweetBasil you gotta cut off the straight ends or you won't retain length at all...or at least trim and deep condition weekly

    • @aprilsarchives_
      @aprilsarchives_ 7 років тому +33

      SweetBasil that's perfectly normal for your hair to start changing when you revert to natural. It has to get used to not being chemically processed. But natural is not for everyone, and so is relaxers lol.

      You probably didn't find what worked well for your hair Coz u didn't give it enough of a chance. Also natural hair isn't really meant to break any more than relaxed hair so you probably weren't looking after it properly.

    Thanks for such a detailed, informative video. Your hair is very healthy and flowing. I'm considering getting perms again. I had a length similar to yours a few years ago. The stress of losing my mother and depression caused massive hair loss and breakage. I now feel strong enough and ready for texlax. Please ignore all the naysayers. Your doing a excellent job.

      Girl it is the best. I use just for me texlax i am going to try what she used. But i deep condition my hair every week for about 30 min to an hour. I put cantu argan oil conditioner in my head everynight or every other. I also put every other night or twice a week jamaican black mango castor oil. I spritz or damp my hair like 3 times a week. My hair is now to my shoulders. My twist outs do mot become afros anymore lol.

    beautiful hair. great video. i was natural, then relaxed, natural again and thinking about texturizing...I don't get caught up in all the natural vs. relaxed issues cause they really are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

  • @saushakamara
    @saushakamara 7 років тому +44

    What I don't understand is how in the world you can leave that on for 15 minutes and smooth it through and still come out with so much texture. I can leave one in for 5 minutes no smoothing and end up with damn near bone straight hair. And my hair is not thin at all. I've even ended with almost straight hair using a texturizer made for kids 😑

      Sausha Kamara what's your natural hair texture curl pattern

    • @Margaret.F
      @Margaret.F 7 років тому +2

      Sausha Kamara Last week I used the normal Olive oil relaxer on my 4C low-cut hair... I left it in for about 45 minutes (because I know my hair is sort of resistant). I combed the relaxer through at around 3 minutes from the beginning.... would you believe me if I said the relaxer did little-to-almost nothing? ??? Like, if I didn't tell anyone, one would think I did nothing to my hair. It was an experiment though. I do know that the combing/smoothing process is supposed to help so maybe it's because I didn't really do that. I bought the extra strength. hopefully I'll be using it in the near future to Texlax.

      I don't think it's too big of a risk. I texlaxed with armpit length hair and I'm doing just fine. I use s curl activator then prettywitty77s conditioner mix after. I texlaxed three to two times a year. just make sure you keep your hair well moisturized and you should be fine

      kilia101 she didn't leave it on for the full time. The longer you leave it in the straighter your hair gets. If she has naturally tighter curls the texlax only loosens the curls

    • @90sGloss
      @90sGloss 7 років тому +7

      Relaxing is when you relax your natural curl pattern to get the hair bone straight.
      Texlaxing is relaxing only slightly for a small amount of time, to leave some texture in the hair. That's why her hair is straight at the roots, but its also curly/wavy from hair shaft to ends.

    I don't have anything against people wearing their hair relaxed, it's just not for me. I love my kinky curly thick TWA.

    Wait so when you texturize your hair are you supposed to cover all of your hair or only some parts?

    Lol how in the hell are u getting all that curl pattern in your hair by doing this?.. my hair is dwn to my shoulders and I'm not trying to completely straighten it like that's exactly how I want it to be, my hair is so thick that it tends to be hard to maintain which is why I relaxed but I dnt want it completely straight

    • @Indigo2H311
      @Indigo2H311 7 років тому

      FreshWaves1 dont leave it on for how long the box says leave it half the time or less and her hair wasnt permed it was just straightend for easy application

    if she relaxed it why'd it get curly?

    • @Miss.S
      @Miss.S 7 років тому +1

      Unique 19 that's what texlaxed is, means u leave texture is your hair & purposely under process your hair by leaving the relaxer in only a few mins instead of relaxing bone straight

      Michelle Mimi sooooo does it stay like that?

    • @Miss.S
      @Miss.S 7 років тому

      Unique 19 yes it does if done right, u can't leave the relaxer in long or it will get straight. U get the best of both worlds. Ppl also think I'm natural cause I wear my hair curly

    • @aliah1062

      Michelle Mimi and it won't pull your hair out?

    • @Miss.S
      @Miss.S 7 років тому +2

      Unique 19 well hun I can't say cause everyone's hair is different. As u can see she has long relaxed hair, I have long hair & so does a lot of Texlaxed women. U have to treat, your hair cause it can break wether relaxed or natural. Do your research & make the best decision for u, that's what I did & I love it
