Finally! Someone did a mason jar epoxy video! Thank you thank you! Someone told me a long time ago you couldn’t epoxy glass which I knew prob wasn’t true... thank you so much for this tutorial!! You rock!
Oh my goodness. I am both feeling completely foolish that I never thought of the white vinyl background yet so incredibly excited to have a solution now. THANK YOU
@@FlynnSistersBoutique just got my jars right now but I got 16oz. I came here to look for the hole maker which technically I could use my dremel to make a hole but I want those protectors

Love this tutorial I have some mason jars around didn’t know what to do with them but now am definitely trying this project for gifts and one for myself of course is so cute , the ice cube and lime was adorable. Thanks 🙏🏼

I love this video! I was having trouble trying to figure out how to place a waterslide on a dark cup and I'm going to try putting the white under it. Thank you for another great video!
Oh you’re always on time for me! I just got some ice and fruit delivered Thursday! I love the idea of making them on the glass mason jars with the removable “lid” it’s perfect!! Thank you!! #fsx
Adorable! I was wondering if the hot glue will melt if left in a hot car? I was thinking E6000 with the hot glue can I use the hot glue to secure the lemon slice then use the E6000...

Hi beauty , is it possible to make this ice and lemon decoration more durable with sticking it with thick resin and applying it all over the decor if I manage to attach the cover to the turner 🙈 too much hard work but I loved it and I wish if it can be more of a permanent piece of art 😍
Thank you for this tutorial! I have been wanting to make one of these and now I will. Do you have the link for the vase fillers and the lemons you ordered on Amazon? I didn't see the link in your description box.
Condensation occurs on the surface of something, not through something. Sweating won’t occur between the glass and epoxy because sweating is a reaction between the outer environment, not from the inside out. My mother in law has been using a glass mason tumbler I made her 3 years ago and still going strong. This is a common misconception 😊
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Yes! I want to do 4 of these as a set. Yellow (lemon), green (lime), orange (orange), and pink (pink grapefruit). The grapefruit is throwing me off as far as a label. I need to think about this a bit. But, I think a citrus set would be absolutely cute!
I just started doing pens and a few tumblers. I have found this is very relaxing and does not mess with my arthritis. Do you have any advice for me since I am a beginner and if I have trouble can I contact you sometimes for advice. I have nobody near me who does these as well as you. P.S. I love this!! I really want to start making cups but I stress myself out about EVERYTHING so sorry if this is a dumb question...is it food safe with using just the hot glue and not covering lid and ice with epoxy? Thanks!
Thank you 😊 Yes, it’s food safe. And would be just as safe if you were to cover it in epoxy. It will be in contact with liquid in the same capacity (virtually none) either way.
Hi! First off, I love all of your videos! I’ve always just dabbled in crafts and nothing ever really stuck, but let me just say, your videos have gotten me hooked on this craft and finally given my mom and I something fun to do in our free time…so thank you for that! 🤗 My question is, when you print just one image on water slide paper like you did in the tutorial, how do you go about using the rest of the water slide paper for later use? So far I’ve just made sure to fill the entire sheet with images, but right now I only need to print a couple.
Usually I’ll try to fill the sheet but if I’m bias to just cut out what I printed then save the rest and feed it through my printer in the opposite side and print another image on the other side
i'm using a cup turner that i've got linked in the description box of this video. i think they're currently sold out but if you join their fb group you can updates on restocks. thank you!
Such a cute concept! Love the whole jar, but that lid!! 😍 one question though…hot glue and metal don’t usually mix so how do you keep the ice and lemon from popping off eventually? Could you set them in resin instead? Just curious if it would hold longer.

Hi Nora! The CCDIY quick coat is a waterbased sealer. It is not an epoxy, it just seals my design so nothing lifts or shifts while I apply epoxy. The fast set I use is a fast setting epoxy. It has a quicker curing time so you xan mive in to the next step sooner.
I’m curious why you wait to sand the rim after you have a couple of coats of epoxy on. Is there a reason why you don’t sand after the first coat? I’m still learning and I thought the sanded rim after one coat would end up with several coats of epoxy over the rim. Please let me know, because I want to do it correctly. Thanks
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Thanks I was just curious because I just did a cup with the waterslide and the white background vinyl on a black cup and I didn’t like the way it came out so I just was wondering if the pinnable vinyl would’ve been better but I agree with you probably the color wouldn’t have been as good thanks again! Because it's not a double layer cup like the stainless cups are. That's what I was always told when I got started making cups. If I'm wrong then great😃😃😃. I was just genuinely curious. I knew you wouldn't do an unsafe tutorial but just wanted to know.
It’s totally fine. You can epoxy a drinking glass, plastic cup, vase, etc. Basically anything. Of course if you drop it it’s going to break like any glass item. Plus your drinking through a straw. Some people worry about putting their lips directly on the epoxy.
I’ve epoxied on plastic wine glasses and the only issue I have is that it sweats but it doesn’t damage anything. Double wall tumblers reduce sweating which is why people prefer them.
You explain everything in a way that makes it super easy for me to understand. Also your designs are always really cute.
I'm so glad. Thank you Nicole!

yeah as long as the epoxy around it is shiny then it's fine. the edges will dissapear

Wash the bottom with a sponge and just rinse off the top

What is the size of the grommets?
