@@sehastrajits4563 im not sure of the sound quality coz im no sound engineer nor an audiophile but imo, its alright, especially for gaming, soundstage is good too imo
@@toonskiduniyan cant give a proper review coz this is my first time buying a "decent" headset and i havent tried other headsets with the same price range but in my opinion: in terms of gaming (csgo, valorant and r6 siege) the headset is nice and the soundstage works fine imho, you can pin point where the noise is sound is coming from, base on my experience ofc. and in terms of music at this price range i love it, the way it produces the bass is alright for me idk for other people tho coz the AsusTUF H3 is a gaming headset not a music headset. overall if youre on a budget i would recommend Asus TUF H3. But if you have extra money to spend then in my opinion go for DROP + EPOS PC38X or EPOS H6PRO. Im planning to buy EPOS H6PRO (closed-back version) as my next headset.
wow i have been looking for headset just made for footsteps. so when it comes to footsteps and filtering (lowering) loud explosions sounds is this as good as cloud2?
ok so i have an question, im looking to buy a wireless headset for my console and im stuck in between the h3 wireless and the pulse 3d which would you recommend?
Hmm I've heard the pulse 3d's are pretty solid. If the wireless version of the H3 is as good as the wired, then I would say you for sure can't go wrong there!
can someone help? just received a pair of this as a gift. Headphones work flawlessly, but microphone output is so low that unless I have it directly touching my lips you almost can't hear anything. I did all the usual troubleshooting and settings checks. Is it broken? :/
I was searching for cheap headphones for discord, meetings, casual music and gaming and saw this vid today picked it for 30 bucks. steal deal. I own a cloud 2 and this tuf 3 is for my laptop on the bed
Do not get these headphones. I am a ASUS fan, but this product is terrible. The mic sucks. Theres a delay from talking in the mic to you hearing yourself and sounds like an echo. You cannot escape your mic picking up keyboard strokes and pissing everyone off. I dont think I have loaded Armoury Crate even 1 time without me having to update a driver on the headphones until i can use the interface to play with settings. What are all these updates for? they dont change my experience. The battery is shit, lasts about 6 hours and you cant plug it in to continue playing if it goes dead mid game. The interface is shit, constantly buffering. Absolute waste of money. I came from Corsair HS70 and they are by far a superior headset.
@@justinianaldevera8773 been using it for a month now. Its a great headset if youre in a budget. I live in a tropical country but it does not feel that hot. Great sound, great quality for its price. 👍👍

Its very cool that you compared it to the hyperX you should say it in the title of the video!
I think I had it in the title originally, but I like to play around with it to see what hit's best!
saw this video back on June 25, 2023 and i finally decided to order it today, thanks for the review!

I love how asus accidentally made an open backing sound for headset
It's pretty wild! I'm totally ok with this accident🤣
Ya know, I've seen these but never really paid attention. I'll have to put them on my wishlist now
I highly recommend giving them a shot!
Thank you so much ..this is exactly what i was searching for .. now i can buy it peacefully ❤
My H3's microphone is awfully quiet, I don't know why, but everywhere everything is at maximum.
same here, is ur problem solved?!
Did you fix it? I'm facing the same issue
Have them for like a year and they are one of the best headsets I've had
does it have any noise cancellation?

Do you think it's worth paying 16 euros more for the Steelseries Arctis Nova 1p?
I just got them on sale at 20$ huge deal !
when it comes to footsteps and filtering (lowering) loud explosions sounds is it any good ?
Does h3 has 7.1?
Nice Review mate.......subscribed
Thank you so much!!
for gaming (accurate footsteps sound mostly) is this better than blackshark v2 x and g433 ?
Do I need to activate 7.1 surround sound on the h3 or its plug and play?
Nope, just plug and play!
can u please help me ,mic picking up desktop sounds on windows 11
Hmm I would check your sound settings on windows and make sure something there isn’t causing playback through your mic
40$?
Brother its 100euros where I am living WTF.
this will complete my asus tuf infinity rings collection(tuf keyboard, tuf mouse, now tuf headset)😂
it’s microphone works without splitter at phone
Yes. If you plug into a TRRS jack, a splitter is not needed
Why does the earcup in your thumbnail has the ASUS logo, but in the video has TUF logo?
If I remember correctly(been a while since I did this video) it says ASUS on one side, and the Tuf logo on the other
i wish the mic was detachable
Same honestly! It’s weird too, because it looks like they could’ve easily made it that way!

Hmm what platform are you using these on? You may need to contact ASUS and see if you can exchange
@@BaxTechYT PC.
You could try using a plugin to EQ the mic, or maybe look into getting a sound card
@@BaxTechYT I did try third party couple softwares. I think its just broken :/
h3 wireless or razer barracuda x?
Hmm sadly i don’t have experience with either, so it would be hard to give an honest recommendation
i would say steelseries arctis 7 but its expensive, please tell me if u have some info about h3 wireless
Should i buy these or logitech g332?
Wassup brother should I get these for sim racing or not ?
Is inzone h3 better than this ?
Thanks a lot 😊🎉👍🏻👏🏻🙏🏻
I wanted to ask about the mic of the H3
Thanks dude ✌🏽
Thank you!
what about wireless h3 ?

What's up with the sublimble peach emoji? 🤣
is it good for music?
yes
Are the earpads replaceable?
Not on these sadly. Maybe with some careful modding, but it wouldn’t be worth it ultimately
Kraken x or h3
I sadly haven't tried Krakens. The H3's were very solid though. So you for sure can't go wrong with those!
i wonder if this is better than hyperx stinger
Hmm haven't tried the stingers, but I would bet they sound close to the same!
hs50 pro or h3
Haven't tried the HS50's, but the Tuf H3's a very solid!

Coolermaster CH331 better than this imo
Cloud 2 is almost double in price
There is no match of hyper x cloud 2
They'll for sure be one of my all time favorites!
H3's mic is better
It’s impressive! I love that cheaper headsets are starting to get really good mics these days.

is it good for music?

I use a standalone mic.
Can i cut off the mic?
You should be able to without affecting the headset. If you do, i would recommend using a splitter so it doesn’t try to pickup a signal from the mic
