This is the problem with our community. When a person is being too comfortable and have a lot of confidence, people say that he's arrogant and too over himself. But when people see a person being modest and humble, they still have something bad to say to that person. Wtf do u want really?

I don't why y'all say that Kris Allen had no talent! Both him and Adam each have their own voice and their own style of music! Both are talented, in my opinion!
Seen him live a couple times where he's amazing and oozing personality and charisma. He spices up his set lists with unexpected, fun covers and medleys. At pre show M&Gs he takes the time to really engage with his fans. If you haven't seem him live it would be difficult to have an accurate opinion of his talent. He shines far brighter live than on records.

So it's not unreasonable that the judges will assume the people who audition are familiar with the show, know what it is all about at this point, and what to expect. So if you behave too humbly then it's not surprising that the judges may think you are being a little bit conceited. I like Kris alot btw, I was happy for his win and I think he's got a beautiful voice. But just pointing out that he was unprepared going into this audition here.

His voice is great. Heard him sang acapella impromptu during his visit here in Manila. His voice is much much better heard live. I didn't expect his voice so easy to the ears. I mean his voice is really really good! It maybe weak for others (specially those Glamberts or other Adam fans) but singing high notes doesn't mean his voice is poor.

He deserved to win just as much as Adam...it's not always about who has the highest vocal range, it's sometimes about how they connect. I loved both Kris and Adam (also Allison) on the show, but connected the most with Kris. He might not have the highest vocals, but he can convey the meaning and lyrics of every song beautifully. I never paid so much attention to a song's lyrics until Kris.

In general, everyone with amazing vocals sound the best acapella - because it just shows off their voice. Idol albums (at least their first ones) are usually over-produced songs that it decreases our appreciation for their vocals. I wasn't a huge fan of Jordin Sparks 1st album (though I like her), but when I heard her sing acapella in her UA-cam videos (TheJoMoShow) - I about cried it was so beautiful. Anyway, I love love Kris and Adam.

I cant remember the show, but I believe it was the last 8. photos of adam kissing guys was publicized and then he got in the bottom 3 even tho he did an absolute amazing performance. i even noted the judges said he was the best that week. In fact the judges rooted him on the whole competition with explicit remarks on him deserving the title at the finale. Adam as of now is more successful. Kris did a rap song, not his genre he blew it. in 4 years the kid will be singing at bars.

I think he won just because of conservative backward old-fashioned voters which Adam was robbed by. They just refused to give the win to a gay vocalist and gave it to the ordinary straight little guy but they really didn't care about vocal and musical abilities

He's induvidual and can go from the upbeat, fast songs to really slow songs. It takes a TON of talent to do that, and not many singers can possess that much range. Adam, on my opinion, won that season.
He was my music leader for about two years in college, still miss his amazing voice. Nothing like listening to him with about 300 others, he's a very nice great guy as well.
