The most amazing thing about Adam is that he can front Queen, do tribute to Freddy and still not clone him. That is real talent, to sing with Queen and make the song his own and make it work. Audatious...brilliant...
I love the way he was confident without being cocky, when he said “I can saang” - it easily could have rubbed the judges the wrong way if it was anyone else. But Adam of course had the vocal chops, and showed his playful personality in answering. Also when he said “is it something I could get a shot at working on?” showed great humility on his part. Remember that he was already a professional singer at this point for many years, yet still responded so humbly and admitted that he had things to learn. He deserved all the success he got and more
I wish I could cut off the face that Simon has on when bae is singing and project it onto a screen at the beginning of every Queen show, and have, ' Tribute to the man that thought theatricality was negative ' written underneath.
